Nice collection of Rodin works in the Sculpture Garden. "Burghers of Calais" pictured. Great place for a quiet stroll & conversation. Much less frenetic than National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden.

In my opinion, best museum in DC. They have an excellent collection of both well known and unheard of contemporary artists and the architecture of the building really adds to the overall experience.

This Warhol is permanent, but the real gems are in the temp exhibits. However, "NO PICTURES!!", so take my word for it. The surrealist 'Marvelous Objects' has Dali's famous lobster phone on display.

Do not miss this smaller D.C. museum; it's a real gem. Modern and abstract art reign supreme here. Excellent galleries. A real treat.

Favorite. Sculpture garden and multi-level modern art museum in the heart of the mall; usually overlooked since few people can figure out the entrance. Worth the detour.

This free Smithsonian Institution houses international modern and contemporary art: Francis Bacon, Yoko Ono, Barbara Kruger, and dozens of others whose works sparks debate and wonderment.

The museum has many amazing art pieces but there are several staff members who made the experience poor. While observing the art we also got to hear them talking about having affairs and other issues

Situated behind the Washington Mall, take in contemporary works of art by Matisse, Picasso and Pollock or relax in the sculpture garden with a cup of tea.

The art of destruction is less interesting than the photos of the Detroit dentist building. http://iliketowastemytime.com/2012/01/05/frozen-in-time-ruins-of-old-detroit-photos

Very interesting and abstract ideas here. Make sure you don't get too close to sculptures or you'll get buzzed at.

The museum's central fountain, inspired by Old Faithful, surges with the ebb and flow of DC’s sewage system.

Don't use a flash in this Museum. Check out the dark room panther exhibit. That's pretty wild. The light exhibits are looking spectacular.

More Andy Warhol than you can shake a stick at! Make sure you read his description of the exhibit. He's a lot more practical than you imagine, and more genius than you think.
