  • Wai-Mon L.

Cheap and cheerful traditional chinese food. Duck ho fun is my fave and is always very good. Be prepared to eat and go! Not a place for dwelling.

    Wai-Mon Lie · June 16, 2010
  • Mako R.

Overpriced Chinese fast food. To get the best value from this place, order a fried rice or fried noodles dish.

    Mako Ruan · December 10, 2014
  • Wai-Wai T.

Best siu yuk faan outside of hong kong!

    Wai-Wai Tong · June 29, 2013
  • Mayskie

Noodle soup and rice dishes in Chinese only menu. The stuff in English are main courses, suitable for family style dinners. Order the noodle soup or rice dish you want (wonton noodle) and it'll be ok.

    Mayskie · December 12, 2012

Atrocious service. Got a lashing by manager cos I criticised the food - I was raised in HK and a food/travel journo. No longer welcome there I was told. Food, aforementioned, was bad.

    Dylan Lowe · October 11, 2012

Very good food but very bad service. Always rushing customers. Chill, people!

The roast dishes are one of the best you can find in Chinatown.

Tried to lunch here for CNY and waited over 30min for our food. The service here is very slow! I'd love to review the food but we cancelled our order and paid £8.50 for 2 small bowls of corn soup.

Best value set menus in the area - great pre-theatre. Expect brusque service and hard wooden seats; this is about eating well and quickly, not lingering!

    Alexandra Goldstein · December 28, 2014
  • Kukkii D.

Don't order the west lake beef soup... with that amount of black pepper they're probably trying to mask a dodgy flavour.

    Kukkii Doh · October 23, 2014
  • Kamara H.

Bubble tea is nice, as are desserts. I was pleased to discover less sugar used than usual. They failed to mention beforehand that it's cash only under £10, forcing us to go withdraw round the corner.

    Kamara Harding · September 28, 2014

Quick service, vegetarian options, large portions. No fuss.

Great authentic Chinese food, though portions could be bigger. Not the best ambience or friendliest service, but would definitely go back for the food.

Awesome food. Ask BBQ Roasted Duck Cantonese Style and you certainly will not regret.

    Manoel Lira · April 26, 2013

Always order from the 'locals' menu located on each table, one side is written in Chinese with the English translation on the reverse. It features some excellent authentic dishes! ❤

    Angel Chainikom · April 23, 2013
  • Aiza C.

Try the Beef and Vegetable with Crispy Noodle and the Jellyfish with Cucumber. Tried a lot of restos in Chinatown & I think they've got the best food.

    Aiza Cruz-Wing · March 28, 2013
  • Alexis

The food is the same as in the other Chinatown restaurants, prices are 30% higher. Avoid. If you do go, the "marvellous" salt and pepper squid is actually deep fried...

    Alexis · February 11, 2013
  • Mariliis R.

A generous range of bubble teas - worth every penny! Not so sure about the service tho...

The Swee and Sour Crispy Fish is on the more authentic HK menu, and also a staff favourite. The soft shell crab starter is my favourite by far!

Absolutely terrible! The Staff were very unpleasant and the food arrived stone cold. Go somewhere else if you want value for your money!
