Holland Village is a small busy enclave, popular venue with younger Singaporeans and expatriates, it is dominated by and often visited solely for its eateries and watering holes, along with some specialist shops selling non-traditional wares. The place is sometimes referred as "Holland V".
Holland Village Shopping Centre @ Ng Song Lin Building beside Holland Village MRT. Quite a handful of vacated shops, not much crowd on weekends. More of middle-aged expats regulars patronising.
This is an expat-y area for when you get sick of Asian food (it is possible) and want something western for less than a bagillion dollars. I really liked the pizza place on the main drag!

Horrible place to park cars but really lovely place to chill, even though it may be a bit atas.
Leave the car at home and take the train here instead. More convenience, less stress.

Do not ever order the fish soup. It is v lousy plain n fish is of bad quality.

Careful when u buy from Holland Village Fresh Fruit Juices at the hawker (#01-25). His sign says "fruit juice $2.50, $3, $3.50, $4" but my star fruit juice cost $3.50. With ice some more.

Try the crayfish at the coolest coffee shop in town! Closest you can get to a delicious crayfish without heading to Johor!
