Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is an outdoor music venue, in Chicago's southwest suburb of Tinley Park, Illinois, that opened in 1990.
Good place for a concert in the south suburbs. Get there early for free parking or else you will be stuck in traffic. Bring a blanket for the lawn seats as the grass can get chewed up after rain.
staff all say different things and are NOT helpful, good sound quality, work service sucks.
Lawn seats are a fun time!
took over an hour with the idiots they have working traffic.Came across a NEW place to park. Across from entrance 4 on Oak Park Ave,large parking lot and cost $15 to park and I was able to tailgate.
Awesome venue for summer shows. Worth the drive outside of the city!
Oddball Comedy Fest
Bring a blanket to sit on the lawn. Great sound, even back there!
:). Frozen marg
Amazing place for concerts.
Worst venue I've been to. Parking is a mess and employees are rude. Not recommended.
This place is overly intense about rules. Open your water bottles in front of security and give them the bottle cap, food has to be in zip lock baggies, no umbrellas, no chairs, and you get pat down.
Seat upgrades and exclusive VIP experiences are now available at First Midwest Bank Amp. Upgrading is fast, easy, and fun! Just visit https://livenation.expapp.com from your iPhone or Android.
Worst fucking parking situation. A million people "directing traffic" [aka sitting around doing nothing] when you get here and nobody when you leave. WTF?!
You're only allowed to bring in lawn chairs that fold flat. If you bring one that rolls or has a cover you'll have to take it back to your car or rent a chair from the venue for $5.
This venue kind of sucks. It's way out of the way from Chicago proper and with few exceptions the staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Only recommended if you MUST see the act playing.
Formerly known as the tweeter center
Traffic's a Bitch
John mayer concertttt
Walk the Lexus Red Carpet and check out the new 2014 IS 250 F SPORT in the North Plaza for a chance to upgrade your concert experience or win free concert merchandise. #LexusVIP!
Worst place to get out of when show is done!!! Horrible!!
Walk the Lexus Red Carpet tonight and check out the new 2014 IS 250 F SPORT in the North Plaza for a chance to upgrade your concert experience or win free concert merchandise. #LexusVIP!
The venue is HUGE! Vans Warped Tour has a good mix of rock-esque genres! Lots to listen to for every one. Food here is damn expensive though! 6 bucks for fries!!?!? Crazy.
Traffic is awful when leaving. Seriously be ready to wait for awhile to get out of the parking lot when you leave! I've never sat in my car so long to get out of an event after it was over.
When your ticket says obstructed view, you might not be able to see a good chunk of the stage. The posts in the reserved seating are huge.
Very expensive refreshments...$11 for 24oz beer. Also, TERRIBLE parking management...didn't see a single person directing traffic.
Toby Keith is awesome
Even if you have lawn seats it's great!! No matter where you are you can see the stage fairly well!!
Lawn seats are the best! Get there early and relax! Best concert venue iv been too in years!
Wear good shoes. The parking lot sucks balls. You have to walk through chunky rocks to get to the gates. Gah. >,<
Worst music venue in the Midwest. I don't even feel like going into any further detail.
Thus place SUXS
Even though they don't let you tailgate and chase you out of your car, get there early, and or you will miss part of the show with the terrible parking system.
Enormously awesome venue for a non-festival type of show
we right next door to a golf course. Roll up some green while your ball rolls up on the green
damn this venue is huge. oh, and they got Deep Dish Pizza out here too...Tinley Park style
Don't chug a gallon of vodka with 3 of your buddies in the parking lot thinking you will avoid paying for alcohol inside. You will only be seeing the medical office and/or the security office.
"$250 fine of caught tailgating. It's a city ordinance". Tailgating also is sitting in your car drinking water to avoid the heat and waiting for gates to open. Thumbs down.
Traffic management isn't very organized, and the acoustics aren't very great either. Other than that, it was fine!
The band I saw (Radiohead) was great, but the rest of the experience was bad. Traffic is a nightmare and you had to move immediately into the venue after you park. No tailgating! (Tinley Park law)
Don't expect to get out of the parking lot in under 2 hours
Don't eat the brown LSD
The VIP area here is really great. This is the way to go!
PWT festival venue.
The parking's no fun...
