    This place is HUGE. We didn't have a map and figured we'd wonder and happen on the graves/sites we wanted to see. We wandered for awhile. Plan/map ahead. Enjoyed spending time there. Beautiful.

    At this Hollywood landmark, fans still gather every August to pay homage to Rudolph Valentino. Cecil B. DeMille and Douglas Fairbanks also rest here. Catch outdoor movies during the summer (for a fee)

    My sanity spot. Beautifully taken care of you can visit peacocks, rabbits, swans, geese and sit and have a nice picnic by the lake.

    make sure to see hattie mcdaniel's cenotaph near the lake. her dying wish was to be buried here but segregation laws at the time did not allow it. in 1999, this centotaph was erected in her honor.

    Day of the Dead is a remarkable festival that's worth the price. Being a good camera and a big memory card and stay until it gets dark to say a lot of the monuments come alive!

    A kitschy Hollywood cemetery. Cinespia's outdoor summer movie screenings and bands at the Masonic Lodge are a unique experience. Bring a picnic & wine for the movies and buy tickets well in advance!

    This lovely 57-acre cemetery features elegant monuments that whitewash sordid lives. During the summer Cinespea screens classic films on the lawn while Valentino, Davies and Fairbanks sleep nearby.

    Don't bother with the $5 map of the famous people buried there. Worthless and confusing. Too many people wandering around with maps asking if they know where anyone on the map is.

    This one may seem like an odd one, but once you go there you will understand. Basically it is a beautiful cemetery with its lake and tall palm trees, Also in Summer they show films within the grounds.

    Don't bother paying to park in the cemetery. They let all the people in line in before they allow you to park

    Get here by 5 to get a good spot in line and there will still be parking available across the street. Bring food, drink and friends and have a picnic. If you need to pee, they will let you in to do it
