This lovely 57-acre cemetery features elegant monuments that whitewash sordid lives. During the summer Cinespea screens classic films on the lawn while Valentino, Davies and Fairbanks sleep nearby.

This one may seem like an odd one, but once you go there you will understand. Basically it is a beautiful cemetery with its lake and tall palm trees, Also in Summer they show films within the grounds.

A kitschy Hollywood cemetery. Cinespia's outdoor summer movie screenings and bands at the Masonic Lodge are a unique experience. Bring a picnic & wine for the movies and buy tickets well in advance!

Day of the Dead is a remarkable festival that's worth the price. Being a good camera and a big memory card and stay until it gets dark to say a lot of the monuments come alive!

This place is HUGE. We didn't have a map and figured we'd wonder and happen on the graves/sites we wanted to see. We wandered for awhile. Plan/map ahead. Enjoyed spending time there. Beautiful.

At this Hollywood landmark, fans still gather every August to pay homage to Rudolph Valentino. Cecil B. DeMille and Douglas Fairbanks also rest here. Catch outdoor movies during the summer (for a fee)

make sure to see hattie mcdaniel's cenotaph near the lake. her dying wish was to be buried here but segregation laws at the time did not allow it. in 1999, this centotaph was erected in her honor.

This is one of the neatest places to see Holywood stars and where they have laid to rest. You will never see such shrines to loved ones.
