Very huge airport, Free very fast wifi is easily detected with no password. You can take the train to Central, if wanna stop by at Disneyland. Can leave Baggage on Arrival Hall, 10$ per piece/hour. :)

The most efficient airport I have traveled through. Free Wi-Fi everywhere. Mtr to Hong Kong Central is only 24 minutes. Highly suggest taking the peak tram in central for an amazing view of HK.

Visit the Air France KLM lounge at gate 60. They serve Pork Cheese. Well, that's how 'kaaskroketten' has been translated. Envision milking a gilt and make a pork cheese. Dutch innovation! Dig in!

One of the busiest and largest airports in the world. Upon arrival is not an issue. Once you leave HK, ensure that you arrive early. You may spend half an hour to get to your departure gate.

Other than the airport express, there are various airport buses (A buses) out to the districts of HK island, Kowloon and N.T. Just follow the signs for buses as you head out from arrivals.

if you're taking the airport express to the city, ask for the group tickets as they are a lot cheaper than just the single tickets sold on the machines. & plenty of food choices in the departure area!

This is of course the airport I've visited most and one of my favourites. Large, lots of shops and cafes, efficient and clean. But it gets busy all the time and may take some time to wait for luggages

Free wifi here is really strong even when you're inside the toilet. Also, if your gate is 40-230, please be early because you need to ride a train going to your boarding gates.

Be prepared to spend a bit to get a decent meal...or any meal...not much to be had that is inexpensive at HKI...unless it's snacks from one of the shops...but still a very nice place for a layover.

Free wifi, excellent connections as a regional transport hub around HKG, The China Mainland, Macau and other North Asian destinations. Take the express train to the city in 24 mins. Signage is good

Everything is set up conveniently - certainly one of the most efficient airports. However I also seem to encounter bad food here regardless of which chain. Bottled drinks are safe!

Airport Express trains every 12mins sched. Takes you to Central in 24mins. It is cheaper & faster than taxis. Even if u are 4 people is only 220HKD to Kowloon. Must try!

Huge airport. Be sure to check in and head for immigration and security check early to avoid missing your flights since the distance from your check in/immigration to your ACTUAL gate can be very far!

For long layovers, the travel lounge is worth checking out even if you have to pay. The comforts of a shower, food, quiet space, etc are worth it. If you have Amex/priority pass you are in free.

This airport has free Wi-Fi all over the premises, very clean & huge but the downhill part about this airport is that if your landing is at T2, you need to take a bus and train to T1 for immigrations

Really enjoyed the meals at The Spaghetti House. Egg plant with mozarella and garlic foccacia. Try the new bacon & chicken pasta... wholesome food packed with flavour. What a way to end the trip.

If you transferring from a high number gate like 60 to gates 1-4, be prepared for an epically long walk from one side Terminal 2. It could be even longer if you are coming from a triple digit gate #.

One thing i find it absurd is that there is not enough common area of seats. It's either foodcourt area and as usual crowded or three benches at the side. Keep finding but can't find public seats. 😠

Despite airport is huge you can't get lost here - signs are everywhere. Shops are closed around 11-12 pm. You can register your luggage in HK train station, wander around HK and then go to the airport

The fastest way to get to the China motherland from HKIA is to take ferry. In this case no need to officially enter HK territory and wait in long line to immigration windows. Good time in HK & China!

Try Airport Express train if you are traveling with hand luggage only. 25 mins to/from Central and Kowloon and free wi-fi on the train. Few cars on the train are labeled as a "quiet area".

Be noted that there is no boarding announcement in the lounge even though they scan your boarding pass. None app will push you boarding notification since the mobile technology is out dated in HK.

All airports should follow this design. There's really only one direction to go whether you're going outbound or coming inbound. Not too thrilled about the high tram fees but it's cheaper than taxi.

Busy airport, big food court. Not so convenient for solo travelers cuz it can be hard to get a table but there are service restaurants as well - just a bit more expensive. Find your gate early.

Free wifi at every part of the airport - just one click and you are online. Give yourself some additional time to get from the main building to the gates which requires you to take a shuttle train.
