Get the white wine mussels. Amazing and enough for two for a meal. Comes with huge basket of awesome frites.

If you get muscles make sure to bring your own bread. They don't bring enough and if you ask for more they bring one piece each time you ask. Then if you ask too many times they just ignore you.

Hop Leaf is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Beer menu can't be beat. Delicious gastropub menu, they do better on the heavy dishes so come prepared to eat a rich meal! Can't wait to go back!

Amazing beer selection, especially belgiums. As everyone has said, the mussels and frites are a must. But, try the restaurant in the back- the rest of the menu is delish too

Try a Kwaak! A solid Belgian, served in a small yard with a wooden stand. The pageantry of it alone makes it a good choice.

CB&J is to die for. Make sure you sub pomme frites for chips. Mussels are, if I may use 90s vernacular, off the chain.
