Located in downtown Washington, DC, Hotel Helix is a glamorous, hip boutique hotel - steps from DuPont Circle – with a Hollywood style, colorful rooms and suites, meeting space, concierge, and Washington, DC vacation packages.
Low quality mattress. Sags, worn out springs.
No coffee maker in room.
Just 1000 degrees of bad. Avoid at all costs.
Nice and not too expensive. Can be noisy especially on the weekend!
Where I spotted Lil' Wayne on the elevator.
Cute mini bar! So retro!
Love the sparkling wine at happy hour!
Great hotel !! It looks like an apartment with living room, bathroom and bedroom. The mattress offers sweet dreams.
Pros: Complimentary happy hour 5-6 !! Cons: $100 incidental hold and $42 a day for parking
Great place to stay! The staff was very attentive and even left a special treat in our room for my sons birthday.
Nice hotel. Very spacious rooms. The rooms could stand a deep cleaning on the carpets and a few upgrades in the bathrooms. Not the best but far from the worst.
Amazing Staff and service! Cool hotel. Can't wait to return!
This hotel is chic and pet friendly. The room are mostly different in deco and can be request the theme. All staff are very helpful. Prices are reasonable consider in the heart of the city downtown.
From 5-6 free wine and champaign! Friendly staff!! Great location! Bars off 14th street are fun and yummy!
beautiful comfy hotel. wifi is super fast and you get cool bathrobes for your stay!
One of the best bartenders in town.
Food at the restaurant is decent, but not great. Skip the chicken... It's been dry every time I've tried it. But there are some great restaurants in the area.
Good prices, comfortable rooms, retro decor and helpful staff.
I love spending my birthdays here.
The air conditioning is awful, and they pre-authorize $100 PER NIGHT on your card without disclosing it. We called their operator for over an hour no answer! Just trying to set a wake up call!
Beer geeks try Churchkey around the corner amazing draft and cask selections.
Kimptons may have the most unique amenities. This bar has pop rocks and pez! What else do you need?. #love
Free bikes! Check one out for the day.
Mod lobby brings your right to the point. Small yet nifty bar lends it personality to the thematic evil lair lines. Good service, full cocktail list. Tiny TVs. ** #mayormorris
Hit the lounge up and ask for my buddies Walter or Ayana!
Drink prices are real high; be sure to catch the specials at happy hour.
Don't miss the hosted wine hour every 5-6 pm. Here you get to taste delicious wines and mingle with other guests.
The area is the best part if the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms could use a little upkeep - wallpaper coming off the walls, furniture damaged looking. Overall a great stay though!
The GM let me use his iPhone charger. Nice folks!
Find Ayanna and ask her to make something up for you! She makes some killer cocktails!
We've stayed here both times we've come to DC with our son and it's been a very good base of operations for us. They are very kid friendly.
Great wine reception each evening. It is a party!
Get the Curious Bee cocktail!
Only Place I stay when in DC
Location is awesome, close to most of DC, walking distance to tons of great food and Whole Foods, to. Far from Metro, though.
The suites are awesome!!!
Fun boutique hotel in Dupont Circle in DC - pet friendly, and a great patio!
Dude we get it... You didn't get hot water. My AT&T service is great. Fun place to stay if you have a sense of humor
Good room, not the cheapest, and the wallet costs 35$ for overnight
Great place to stay and the service was very good. Location is great too.
They claim to have phone chargers, but not for iPhone.. One of the most popular devices..
Hmm ATT service is hit or miss
Don't ever bring a date or anyone you're trying to impress. Brothel-curtains at the entrance and the euro trash decor gives it a mod Hostel feel. I'm sure HH is great but horrible for out-of-towners
Great corner room, great vibe, good food
Bad vibe, bad decor,no freakin' room service.
I didn't get hot water in the shower both days I was there. I was assured that the issue was solved after the first time and it wasn't. They took off $20 from the bill but I wouldn't stay here again
Really fantastic staff and I love the decor. One of my favorite hotels in the city!
