Conveniently located in North Houston, 10 minutes from Houston's Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Hotel is on Beltway 8 feeder and 1/2 mile east of I-45. 390 comfortable guest rooms feature remote controlled TV, WiFi and all new renovated meeting space...
Don't go outside, you might get shot
Stay elsewhere, this place is dilapidated, the staff is unfriendly and unresponsive, the shuttle is unreliable.
Staff are absolutely trashy and rude.....
The staff is not very pleasant here.
Staff are jerks and the rooms don't have fridges, and there's only 12 portable ones for the ENTIRE hotel, so there's never any available...but they're "ordering more" and they'll "be here soon."
Don't expect a ride from the hotel van unless you are going to the airport.
Been staying here for years, love it! Sketch area, but the hotel is marvelous!
Very nice, friendly staff. The restaurant has great food, I especially love the shrimp tacos
Horribly rude staff, give reserved room away, bar overly priced and subpar, Hyatt place a block away is a million times better!!!
The hotel is pretty nice, the room is good but bathroom is rather small. Also the neighborhood and the mall nearby are a scary sight...
I stay at about 125 hotels a year and this hotel had the smallest bathroom of any hotel that I've ever stated at. Not what you would expect from a full service Marriott.
They don't call it the Gunspoint for nothing..
Really, you need a key to use the elevator? Nice neighborhood.
Must say that the staff is excellent and above friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel shuttle sucks. Waited for over 45 mins at the airport. Ended up taking a cab..
August 2011. First night and all is great. Nice room, excellent room service, friendly and quick front desk. Hope the same tomorrow.
June 2011 this place looks great. Major renovation in progress. Ask for a new room.
This hotel has undergone major renovations. It's solid. Service could be better.
Hotel is fine; restaurant is subpar. Sorry to be the one to tell you, but "tortilla soup" is not the same as tomato soup with an Old El Paso taco shell on top of it.
ac does not work and the bathroom door does not close the service man said he could not fix it
Most comments about the staff were older. I stated here July 2014 and all the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Maybe a change in management. Rooms were super nice.
The best breakfast buffet of any hotel chain.
May 2014 Nice clean rooms. Coffee maker in room. Nice wood scented toiletries and a friendly staff.
Hotel shuttle service is just awful.
We were here for the Fred Astaire Freddy Ball weekend. The remodeled rooms are super comfortable. The food is amazing as well.
Breakfast on weekend is on 1rst floor
If you forget something at home or have it confiscated at the airport, you can buy a replacement at the lobby...
So they pull the coffee makers out of the rooms, to force you to buy overpriced Starbucks in the lobby.
Stayed on 6/17/13 and the staff were very nice. Was even able to get an upgrade too. Parking lot was packed though and the entrance was hidden off to the side of the service road.
The answer is always no.
Horrible service! The only reason im back is because of soccer.
Lobbly level - open 24 hours w/ room key.
