People tend to check in during these times:
There's always something going on.
There's now a Jamba Juice down in the food court area!
Eat at Panda Express, the best food on campus.
Try taking the elevators upstairs, the are a few quite spots in front of student organizations offices
Never go during lunch (11:30-2)
If you sit here long enough you get free stuff
Come check out the break zone right next to the radio station for a place to relax
SPA's Noontime Concerts happen every Friday in the Semester at Noon! Just follow the sound of music.
If you're coming from E Pollock and heading to the food court or Bookstore, take the little-known side entrance by the loading docks. You'll avoid getting bombarded in the main egress.
You can brig a non-penn state student to the hub movies. All you have to do us write their name down. So don't think you can only see it with fellow staters!
A central location, a book store, a computer store, a concert venue, plenty of food, and tons of comfy chairs. What more could a lion ask for?
Sell your old books for free, buy from other students. http://www.endofsemestersale.com
$1 Sbarro slices during Hub late night!
These guys are the coolest. Too bad jamaal went upstairs to the computer store
Tends to get a little crowded during the afternoons if you are looking for a place to sit and eat. Open 24 hours a day so a good late night study place closer than the library.
I always come here to do homework, but somehow always find some sort of distraction to keep me from actually accomplishing anything!
The Hub is getting ready for the start of THON tomorrow night at 6pm! Bring any last minute dancer mail!
Check out the quiet study lounge by the art gallery for a nice place to study.
best time to get coffee from the downstairs Starbucks is between 1-3pm (at least on Wednesdays)
I love going to HUB to meet my friends and grab lunch. There are so many options to eat. It gets expensive if you don't have meal points and it's hard to find a table with so many people there.
If you're looking for a quieter place to study than the hustle of the first & ground floors head up to the third floor!
If you're looking for a quiet place to study you should definitely check out the cubicles on the second floor!
2nd floor study desks are the best!!
Don't sit on the chairs anywhere near the big tv, the occupy penn state hippies were sleeping on those chairs!!!!
nice place to have fun with your friends.
Its hard to study here at times...
The skinny peppermint mocha is quite delicious..highly recommend it!
Ignore the "occupy psu" kids upstairs ..bad representation of real psu students
never expect to be on time for class during black hours
Try Joegies for lunch. The Hooiser (pulled pork) is awesome.
Take a look at the fish tanks if you're an aquatic enthusiast, or just having a bad day :-)
The HUB is always busy during lunch time. There are a lot of choices for everyone's pallet but go before or after noon if you want to avoid the masses.
The second (and even the third) floor have their own comfy chairs and several cubicles (with outlets!) that are great for studying or meeting with groups for projects.
Getting food during prime lunch hours is not a good idea. Lines get ridiculously long. Try going during off hours to eat if you don't want to wait forever.
The HUB now has a Starbucks!! Best on-campus addition in a long time.
Go here if you wanna see 90% of the people you may or may not want to run in-to.
Great place to meet people and relax for lunch in between classes. However, very steep prices and noisy (don’t try getting work accomplished).
Best avoided around lunch time, it gets ridiculously crowded--you can barely walk, let alone find a place to sit. But I'd argue that the salad bar is better than many restaurants'.
Check out 314.
Don't be fooled by the prospect of Starbucks! It isn't a real, corporate run Starbucks so things won't be like they are at the stores downtown.
Second floor is a great place to get away from the noise and study
The comfiest arm chairs on campus. Perfect for an afternoon nap between classes.
Awesome place to use wifi and grab something to eat. Don't come from 12-1 though, it's ridiculously crowded. Lawn is a great place to just relax between classes. I suggest the salad bar too.
Come watch the movie of the week at late night sponsored by ARHS with funding by UPAC!
The loft area above the sushi place is a great place to study. Overlooks the main floor but is almost always empty.
Welcome to THON's home from 1973-1978! Today, it holds events like 100Days ‘til THON and THON Store sales. Stop by the THON office (210 HUB) to meet this year's Overalls, Captains and volunteers!
While you're here, check in at Penn State's Computer Store and check out the great deals!
