ice cream was delicious - besides the classic chocolate mango/carrot was a nice change. Huge scoops but for $4 for one and $6 incl tax for two one should expect that. even trying before ordering is ok

Hard to go wrong at this ice cream spot known for its inventive flavors, but Vietnamese Coffee and Secret Breakfast are two menu staples for a reason. Sundaes are worth the splurge.

I know everyone goes for the secret breakfast, but I'm more traditional so I like the Tahitian Vanilla and Much better Pecan it's smooth and creamy at the same time. Try it out you won't regret it.

So many great flavors! Try Harvey Milk + Honey Graham, Horchata Rose, Pumpkin Nut, and Dark Chocolate Smoked Sea Salt. Even their Tahitian Vanilla is delicious. Basically you can't go wrong.

Everyone raves about the Secret Breakfast (bourbon and cornflakes), but the true winners here are Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee and Harvey Milk (honey and honey grahams). Creamy delights.

this place is the bomb - and there's never a line like at Bi-Rite. Worth the out of the way trip to this corner of the Mission. If they have the prosciutto ice cream....GET IT.

We love the innovative flavors but we also love that we can stroll down to the Ferry Building location when we’re staying downtown. We’re currently obsessed with the Hot Toddy Sunday.

Here's Your Damn Strawberry! Just one of the top class ice cream flavours available here. Blue Bottle Vietnamese, Secret Breakfast, and the McEvoy Olive Oil are also super tasty!

I still like the secret breakfast and blue bottle Vietnamese iced coffee best, but make sure to ask to taste (peanut butter curry, olive oil, and malted milk chocolate) :)

Happy to let you taste as many flavors as you like -- and they offer a half scoop if you just need a taste. Secret breakfast and The Bakers way were two solid options

Mind-blowingly good ice gream. The chocolate smoked sea salt flavor may sound bizarre, but the combination of the rich chocolate with salt creates an explosion in the mouth!

Either the darling or the dud of the Mission, depending on who you ask. Pretentious ice cream people will say Bi-Rite has better texture / consistency; non-pretentious will love the funky flavors.

Secret breakfast and black sesame were both amazing. Grab a coffee from the place next door to drink with your ice cream! Best coffee I've had in awhile too!

You can't go past the Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream. Or any of the other flavours, for that matter. Or the fact that each scoop is the size of a prize-winning pumpkin.

They're ferociously inconsistent. One bite is the most amazing thing you've ever had (secret breakfast, lime basil) to downright amateur (every other sorbet).

Andrew's pick, due to experimental flavors. I don't like it here. I think the flavors are heavyhanded, like a Zoe Deschanel hipster who is like, "Oh my god, you guys, I'm so quirky!"
