The Bay and city views from the AAA Four Diamond rooms at Hyatt Regency San Francisco will inspire you to visit every sight, as far as your eye can see. Thankfully, most of the city is walking distance away, including the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Chinatown, North Beach and Fishe...
Save $ and buy breakfast across the street at Les Croissants.
The Regency Club has a fantastic 360 degree view of the city, as well as a great spread for both breakfast and early evening. If you have an opportunity together up there it is a treat.
Watch Mel Brooks' HIGH ANXIETY -- "vertigo" sequences filmed here.
One of the most amazing lobbies I've ever seen. Completely unexpected too.
$10/day for Internet access? Really?!!
Come use the restrooms cleanest in the city. And not to mention the good music playing!
Ziggys across the street has great burgers!
After initial shock at ugly exterior pleasantly surprised by 'ok' rooms. Get one away from the front of the hotel. Was practically on speaking terms with builder several hundred feet up on his crane
Check out the Oasis Grill across Drummer Street from the Hyatt - great falafels and chicken shawarma.
Excellent concierge services - great recommendations for dinner, tours, watering holes and shopping. Ask for Ira - he may be the best concierge in SF. Love the view and sounds of the city life!
Go to Hyatt Regency Embarcadero between 4:30 and 7:30 PM and have a drink and the cubano quesadilla in the lobby bar, in the shadow of "The Wicker Death Star."
Beautiful hotel. Makes me feel like a celeb. :)
The famous glass elevators from The Towering Inferno
Just grab taxi when you leave for airport. They may give you a town car at the same price.
Expensive but amazing brunch. Stay around Christmas and the lobby is transformed into a winter-wonderland... complete with fake falling snow!
Enjoy the brutalist concrete interior!
Really amazing lobby and comfortable beds
Great Executive Floor @ Regency club when you reserve rooms on 16th & 17th floor. They serve food almost all day
Atrium is spacious & beautiful. Great place to have a drink with some friends
Great staff, comfortable beds, quiet rooms.
Very nice hotel in the heart of the Embarcadero. Take the elevator to S and go out the street level doors as opposed to going to A (atrium).
The Internet is really broken here...
Glass elevator is cute, hotel is located near to the bay. No regrets about it
Older hotel, but rooms are big. Internet is very slow. Breakfast was good, but a little expensive. As always you pay for the convenience.
Generous room upgrades for as low as $40/night to get bay view, close balcony doors or or risk pigeons entering room!
You may get vertigo looking into the atrium.
New floors have been installed in preparation for the introduction of HOVER LUGGAGE. Because otherwise having floors like these where people are wheeling things round would have been crazy!
The gumbo in the Eclipse Lounge is great!!
Beautiful venue, great service, lovely rooms. Enough cannot be said about this great location! I filmed a wedding here and I love everything about! Prime location & the decor is awesomeness.
Valet will waive the $25 rental car dropoff fee if you're a hotel guest. Also, if you ask nicely, you might get complimentary WiFi!
Mel Brooks experienced High Anxiety here.
Nice room. Lots of street noise though.
Same as Hyatt Regency, SF
Come celebrate the 49th Annual SPE conference with RIT's Office of Alumni Relations on March 23rd from 7 - 9 pm!
Impressing curtains of many lights in the lobby - schould have a look!
Awesomely beautiful lobby area. The lobby restaurant has some delicious food at a pretty good price for this part of town.
Great Xmas decor in lounge/ restaurant area.
One of the best regency club's Hyatt offers. Can't beat the views!
Rooms on the bay side are noise if you are on a low floor - avoid the low floors. Also, the wifi costs $10 per day but is extremely slow.

No free wi-fi in any of the public areas. But, there's a Starbucks right across the street that opens at 6:00 am.
This is an older hotel, as such there isn't much soundproofing so there is a lot of noise from the streets below. Also if you are taller than 6' the shower and mirrors are too short to use easily.
My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the Bayview rooms which had a great view. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent.
Pretty lobby. Nice bayview room on the 12th floor. But staff can get rid of junk in hallways that take away from overall appeal of hotel.
Don't miss the dramatic Christmas decorations.
