The Xujiahui cafeteria is a surprisingly great cheap brunch option. Try its salmon platter with dill dressing and a lemon wedge, pairing well with the organic mushroom and cheese stuffed crêpes. Read more

Look for the extra seating area if you\'re having trouble finding a seat in the cafe. A little hard to find. Plenty of free tables, even on the weekend.

Very popular lunch spot on the weekdays. 99% of the store will be empty, but the cafeteria is as crowded as the Shanghai train station during CNY.

Swedish meatballs in the cafeteria, yes! Walk around and see all the young couples taking a break on a bed or a sofa

Although 90% of ikea is now computer generated, the hot dogs and 8rmb beer is still almost made out of barely edible and slightly recognisable atoms and molecules.

Finally, someone figured it out. A separate waiting area for taxi app users. One of the many signs of IKEA's genius.

Gets very crowded at weekends. Family Card is good even if obtained in another country.

The food section is not what it used to be. Avoid the own label herring but try Swedish rye bread and hook up on Swedish candy (Daim, Ahlgrens Bilar, Polly).

This place is so big, almost all of house needs is here, and the food is not bad

As an IKEA it's fine. But as a place it's a nightmare. Get beers at the cafe before you go shopping. It helps.
