The official Foursquare page for IKEA USA - The Life Improvement Store.
Don't forget some Swedish meatballs while you're there!
Is going through some remodeling so park is a mess but alway find some kind of treasure
Who doesn't like IKEA? Decent items at a great price. What's not to love, haha.
You can literally get lost in here
Went on a Friday and was there 10 minutes after they opened and it was packed. I like the layout but wish there were more shortcuts. Great prices for some things, others too $$$.
Use the shortcut to the marketplace if you already know what you want. You avoid the herds walking through the showroom!
Wasn't as crowded as expected
It'll take 9+ months, but have a baby to park in the family parking. It's closer. Or just borrow a kid, might be easier.
Get here before noon!
Swedish meat balls yum
Get the ikea family card for awesome deals!
They fly the Swedish flag out front (as well as, the US flag & WA State); not may places you will see that in the United States
Lots of candles!
Everything to start over your place.. you can get fancy or work with under a budget..
Go hungry! Halfway through, you can try the cafeteria: Swedish meatballs & lingonberry sauce! Got the munchies but past the cafeteria? They sell hotdogs & ice cream at the checkout area
Get here before opening time and get breakfast before your shopping. It gets crowded fast. Don't leave your shopping cart unattended.
Love this place but it sucks that if you don't find all the parts for your modular shelving/room, IKEA won't wait until new inventory and then ship. You end up with Gift Card for pieces not in bins.
As soon as you pass by the restaurant make sure to grab some meatballs.
Be prepared for seriously long wait times to checkout if you one here on a weekend
Sunday morning cinnamon rolls.
Dante's inferno doesn't plunge this deep.
99¢ breakfast... are we back in the 40s or 50s?!
No more self check. Does this mean they are hiring people who know/care what they are doing? Also pic from a Thursday at 230p.
Always lots of people. Sign up for IKEA family and get a free coffee at each visit. Also they have cheap soft serve.
They don't recycle styrofoam anymore.
Aimlessly wandering rug rats waiting to be crushed under carts or merchandise at every turn. Watch your seed.
no more self checkouts
Certain populations should not be allowed to use self check-out.
Visit and buy furniture, then visit again the next day to get a replacement for that one *%#^*#* part that was busted.
Come for the meatballs stay for the furniture.
The veal is OK, Give it a try.
Go early mornings Monday or Tuesday !!
Opens at 10am every day
Hope and pray that you never need to return anything. S L O W E S T returns I've ever seen!
There is a FLAT rate of $60 to deliver all your furniture. This is the best home delivery as the delivery guys will deliver all your stuff the next day right to your apt. They deliver on weekends too.
You have to collect your own items from the warehouse, so be careful while noting down the product numbers at the display.
First isle in checkout is only 50% operational. Don't let the "short" line fool you.
Go to the exit and get their frozen yogurt before you start walking. It makes the journey so much more bearable.
If you've never been here plan to spend a while. There's so much to see.
Kids eat free on Tuesday, but its not enough food. You'll end up buying another portion
Don't bring your kids here, they will drive you nuts. Also, try to come here when most other people wouldn't. I.e. not on the weekend.
They now have a free member card
It is called Smallånd - my kids love it :)
Go on weekday
Hope you never have to visit the customer service area. It's full of couches because you'll be waiting a looooooong long long long time. Seriously, it's bad.
Think before entering as you won't able to come out in between and you would be feeling like dying at the end due to continuous walk.
Don't rely on taxi from IKEA. Yellow cab just hangs the tube.
I only ever come for the 99 cent Soft Serve Cones!
