Zzz. Literally the best thing you can do is to get here as close to opening as possible. Especially if you're returning something or doing furniture pick-up.

Disinterested staff, messy layout, poor quality products--why is ikea so popular?

Help, I'm still in here and can't find my way out. I'm near the display of European influenced housewares. Send rations and an extra cart.

Watch amateur couples break up and "successful" couples slowly realize that this is what it has finally come too. Also, there are tons of pregnant woman, so if that's your thing...

Avoid it like the plague. Their showroom is like a rat maze, you spend way too much time building low quality furniture and the return dept move like molasses in Decmeber.

I have to admit that I actually do enjoy assembling Ikea furniture. In my occupation my work is intangible so seeing an actual piece of furniture come together with my own hands is very satisfying.

Bargain lunch: meatballs, and lingonberry sauce. Skip the mashed potatoes and gravy, substitute steamed veggies. Add a glass of lingonberry drink and it's pretty healthy & well under $5.00.

Check the item number on the tag with what you're buying! I bought cushions from a box marked $1.49. Got to checkout & was charged $3.99. When I showed them the box they said the # was different!
