What makes this the best izakaya - everything on the menu is consistently good. We always get the spicy ramen and black cod. Takoyaki and Ebi mayo are must trys. Good selection of plum wines too!

Think of imadake as you being at your favourite artist or bands concert with front row seats to a breathtaking atmosphere with really good food. Yakisabo a must try. SAKE BOMB you won't regret.

We have tried gindara(based on 514eat's) and it was great. The place is loud and lively and one of its own in Montreal. Try sake bomb. Be aware that You will smell like fried food after!

boisterous place with small-plate style food and of course, sake bombs. The hot stone beef is recommended (Pro tip: they have a rainbow sake bomb...3 layers...just get it)

Popular restaurant in the izakaya trend that is just now catching on in Montreal. Good food reminiscent of Guu in Toronto and Vancouver. Get a round of Sake Bombs!

How about the ebimayo (fried shrimp with peanuts and spicy mayo), their bacon-wrapped asparagus, grilled okonomiyaki pork belly, and their famed takoyaki octopus balls.

The pancake has an interesting texture and a salty, yet slightly sour taste. Grab that and the octopus balls and you've got a great meal to share.

I love their taiyaki dessert! I'm sure they have good cocktails and sake, but their sashimi tapas and ramen are worth coming for.

Try the beef tongue but eat it while it's hot! If you have the Korokke ask for it with corn. Sake bombs are a must!
