Try the Black Cat or the Angeleno, their straight espresso is probably one of the better in Pasadena. Soo delicious.

A much more "commercial" vibe than Venice, but the service and quality are absolutely outstanding.

The Mocha drinks are so much nicer than Coffee Bean or Starbucks. Not nearly as sweet and tastes like a darker, richer chocolate.
