Beautiful hotel that isn't quite as expensive as you'd imagine a hotel in the middle of the Magnificent Mile to be.
This hotel has a beautiful lobby and fancy, charming rooms, such as King Arthur's Court and Camelot.
Solid hotel for a bachelor party!
Great location. Floors 39+ need two separate elevators which can be annoying. On 39 there are red lights that surround the rooms, and the view are partially obstructed by the stone walls.
Really strange service. Not friendly at all
I enjoyed my stay here. Convenient location and good staff :)
The pool is incredible...original from the 1920's
Nice location, great beds.
Very lovely hotel. Make sure you make reservations in advance for the restaurant inside!
Great location and friendly staff.
Awesome hotel. Buying gold Ambassador status is a no brainer. Historic tower has better rooms and the staff are great. Parking is pricy though so go down the block to save $20+ per night.
Nice bar for older people.
One of the best locations in the city, but disheartened by the very small rooms for such a high-end brand
Really nice rooms and staff, but charging for wifi is obscene!
Get the room with a view
The front desk won't mail a letter. Short sighted. Had to walk 5 blocks to a post office. Huh?!?
They charged the wrong card 345$ tieing up my debit money for gas and travel costs, parking was 65$ and the drinks and food are overpriced. They did Nothing to comp. Me or apologize. Never again!!!
Welcome OPEN Top Client Group! Landmark hotel. #changexdesign #Summit2014
This hotel is such a disappointment from the service point of view. I am a gold ihg customer but my loyalty is not really paid off at this hotel. I wish I had a better stay.
Check out the pool
Nice place with great location
Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made reservation to celebrate 2 year anniversary. Was given double beds instead if a king. They would do anything. They offered 2 free Starbucks drinks. Disappointing.
Landed in a blizzard, spent 2 hrs on runway at O'hare. 10 min after stepping off plane was traveling to hotel with professional driver from Echo Limousine, $60 for 3 people seems very reasonable!
Will not be staying here again. 18$ for Internet, $60 to send and receive one fax, their iron destroyed my pants and they refused to help in any way. Dish TV service was unreliable. Shameful. F.
When walking by beware: live feed to lobby screen behind front desk.
When in Chicago, I would never stay anywhere else. Wifi is expensive, but free at Starbucks and MJ's steakhouse. The pool is amazing. Even if you don't swim, go check it out. Excellent location!
Very cozy and close to any place you wanna visit
In the pool, paddle your feet like crazy, but try to stay still and calm. Then say "I'm like a duck calm on top but my legs are going crazy! !"
This amazing hotel offers a free audio walking tour. Stop at the concierge desk and leave an ID and credit card to take the tour. Absolutely beautiful!
Great pool, friendly staff, great location! Our first night the concierge said to look around for a spot to eat our take-out pizza and we found a great spot just passed Michael Jordan's.
Can't believe that wifi isn't included for the price we pay to stay here! No worries though, I can go downstairs and get WiFi at Starbucks for free....
For what I heard was a fancy hotel Has been a complete let down. Rooms small. Wallpaper is falling off. The carpets been patched together. Bathroom is like a public stall. I'm not coming back.
The pool is not the same as the "famous pool from that one old movie!" I was admiring and asked the hotel manager who let me down nicely: "Yeah, everyone thinks that, but this pool wasn't in it."
Take the self guided tour and get a free water bottle
$17.95/day for 1g wifi is ridiculous. To slap you again after "accepting" the wifi charge, the login page immediately takes you to their Facebook page to "like" the hotel. Seriously?
Must check out the beautiful pool.
A wonderful place for a weekend away from home. The pool is famous and the food from room service is superior.
An engineering feat when the above-ground pool was built in 1929, the pool has since had many famous visitors, including Olympic gold medalist Johnny Weissmuller.

They sure do treat you like royalty here!!! Upgraded to a suite AND sent up a special gift for my daughter for her bday. What a treat!
Great location. Stayed in the historic tower - king bed room is pretty big for a downtown hotel. Didn't care that the pool was closed.
If you're planning on swimming, call ahead to make sure the pool is open. Otherwise you have to haul the family across the street to swim.
The Trump across the street is 10 million times better in terms of service and amenities.
Very cool place! We are having a week long event in late June and look forward to it. Maybe we will have Chicago deep dish pizza!
Historic tower definitely smells that way. Housekeeping staff not properly trained in shower maintenance. Rooms are small despite "upgrade". Definitely not looking forward to another ICH stay.
