The International Center of Photography (ICP) is dedicated to photography that has a vital place in our culture as it reflects and influences social change.
This amazing center will re-kindle your love affair with photography – the exhibits are amazing and the classes are amazing. Come on Friday Nights for Free Admission.
Very hypocritical that im told I can't take photographs while looking at a photo of someone taking a photo of people watching a photo in a museum. The irony of this moment was golden.
Become a Member and get exclusive access to Member-Only events, annual Member-Only ICP school classes, discounts from the shop, and more. Support great photography.
Nul. Art cliché/stéréotypée.
Piece of crap!!
expensive way to go to the rest room
Nice place but not worth 14$ ! Come on Friday 5-8pm & pay as u want.
Elliott Erwitt. Genius.
It's making me cry
Beautiful place, the Zoe Strauss exhibit is powerful
As you enter the museum, enlarged photographs hang in the windows, distinguishing the building from its plain office-building neighbors. If photography is your genre of choice, this place has it all.
This place may be one of my fav spots in NYC. They have great exhibits! The book store has great stuff and you can order anything on-line you see in there.
If you want to see this museum for cheap, visit every Friday from 5 PM - 8 PM and donate what you can for admission.
Murder is my business, very interesting work
the fashion exhibit here is a fun examination of what and who was cool in the late 50s
The venue is always rotating out obscure and well known artists. I could linger all day, even though it is a small venue
It's not a museum, but instead an art gallery full of photojournalistic exhibitions of photographers around the world. Would go again!
Exposição Gênesis do Sebastião Salgado!! <3 <3
You can't take pictures of the pictures... but you can take pictures of the captions, look the photos up on Google, and take pictures of your screen.
The Caio Reisewitz exhibition is really well curated. Well worth a visit.
If you like pretentious photography then this is the place for you. What's even more annoying than the majority of uninspiring photography is the ridiculous texts that describe the work.
Capa in color
Inspired by exhibition
Too far from being an "international" center of photography. Small collection. Simply disappointed. It's just a tiny gallery not even a museum.
A really good photography gallery where you'd least expect to find one.
Fridays 5-8 p.m. = entry AT voluntary admission
Donation fee friday after 5pm
Free admission for Bloomberg employees and up to 3 accompanying guests.
photog inspo-central in very chic setting.
Not a big space, but the exhibits are really well curated. A wonderful place to go for a photog pick-me-up or a revive.
The cafe downstairs offers a selection of photobooks, mostly self-published, to peruse at leisure.
Love Gideon Mendel's work about floods
The Gideon Mendel exhibit is very touching.
Vishniac exhibition, wow, awesome!
ICP offers pay as you wish admission on Fridays, 5 - 8pm.
I really like this place. I highly recommend it. Great pictures, cool store(where they sell Lomography cameras) and if you have a student ID you get in for 10 dollars.
The Weegee exhibition is really cool!
