Old school bazaar and one of our favorites. Kids love to shop for trinkets in the slightly piratical atmosphere, parents love that the trinkets only cost a few bucks, everyone enjoys the food court.

Island gift shop, $1 flower hair clips and great prices, no haggling allowed here, but it's not needed. Near the christmas shop, around the corner from the "lucky shop"

Cheapest place to buy souvenirs and gifts. For best Hawaiian clothing, visit Tina at Tropical Collection near back; she offers the best prices and not pushy.

If you're trying to eat at the food market, I suggest you buy your drinks at the ABC store as they are much cheaper then at each food shack.

A poor shadow of what it used to be. Skip it and go to Hilo Hattie's if you are just looking for the typical tourist souvenirs. It is soon to be closed anyway.

Don't waste your money at the treehouse cafe! Our food was clearly pre- made and then microwaved before being sent out two minutes after we ordered. Two bad meals with over priced drinks= $50!
