Everything. This place is fantastic, they have something for everyone.
Get the Akamaru Modern Ramen.
My favorite ramen shop in NYC. Great for those cold winter days and the food is amazing. Be sure to get there early because there's usually a wait!
Best ramen in NYC
Definitely get the pork and chicken buns to start! Their special ramen with dipping sauce this month was UNREAL. Get it with an egg!
Still consistently one of my favorite ramen joints. Akamaru Modern is a classic.
Delicious noodles and surprisingly good sake cocktails. Expect a wait of 45+ minutes on any given night.
Delicious spicy ramen!
A lot of hype for this ramen place but it didn't blow my mind. It was good though
Pork buns are the best.
wish so much that I saved room to kae-dama my akamaru modern, but the pork buns are worth it. also really sorry for splashing all over the guy next to me.
Interesting, I think it's over rated. Long wait. Soup is ok. Noodle is ok. Service is very good compares to any ramen shop. 9.4 is too high I will rate around 8.5.
Pork buns were the best!
Ramen, shoyu ramen, tonkotsu ramen. ❤️
Ippudo is really great Ramen spot. Love the complementary green tea at the end of the meal.
The handmade noodles really makes this place special. They have really good broth and lovely meet. Also... They usually have a wait time of 30-45 minutes. Be prepared.
Always a long wait unless you go right before the lunch rush during the week. Very good but limited menu.
Best Ramen in NYC!
Great ramen, really indifferent service up at the front
Came with party of 11 fantastic booths to accommodate, traditional ramen fantastic, enough to share!
Pork buns are to die for...
Yummy ramen & park buns
2nd favorite NYC ramen spot. This place has better pork buns than Totto, but Totto's ramen is better. The spicy Tonkatsu ramen is pretty good; expect thin noodles.
Make sure to try Maguro Tuna and pork buns for appetizer. Classic ramen has thick, rich soup; Modern is more fragrant and oily; Spicy one is wonderful is you could stand the heat!
If you like late night ramen, check this place out.
Hirata Buns are incredibly fluffy and the pork has great texture and flavor. Akamaru Modern with poached egg is the go-to but the other ramens are almost just as good.
Cucumber appetizer and veggie ramen
Delicious ramen and try the dessert!
pork buns! ramen is over rated for its price
Awesome ramen experience. If you are in the East Village this is the place to be.
Was really good but don't know if it justifies the avg. 2 hour wait time. Plenty of other Ramen not too far East with less wait.
There's a reason why this place is ranked #1 for ramen in NYC. Atmosphere: dark and hip; service: impeccable; location: solid. If you like spicy, go with the Akamaru Modern.
Long wait, worth it. Pork buns, and get the spicy ramen. Great ambiance.
Pork buns and that ramen. Make sure to get soft boiled egg plus rice with yours to finish it all off!
Yes, it's the crowd favorite & it's really good. Gotta give some love to the others first, but if you're a patient group or a hungry single eater you're in good shape to get a coveted bowl of Ippudo!
Akamura ramen is excellent. A bit spicier than I would like though.
Definitely worth the wait. Hirata Pork and Chicken buns are a must try. Akamaru Modern with added pork!
Golden standard for ramen in NYC
Expect long waits, all of the time. I'd say, it's worth waiting 30 mins for but not any longer. Not worth waiting anywhere given great food options around.
Best ramen in Manhattan. The cha siu is below average and it's pricey with a long wait but still a great bowl nonetheless.
If you go at the right time you can avoid massive waits - also a great solo spot
Best ramen in NY so far
Great ramen, very good atmosphere.
Pork buns for days
