The mission of the Central Park Conservancy, a private non-profit, is to restore, manage, and enhance Central Park, in partnership with the public.
Get your runners on and walk or run around the Reservoir.
It's a fine romance!
My favorite place to run in Central Park
What a beautiful landscape! Fresh and clean
This is a great place to jog or walk. One of my favorite places to walk
A great track around the outside of the reservoir.
I;ve got only one place more relaxing, my home in the Hamptons. It's been a good year. Good people are what makes the bird get the worm as they too are jeolous for the one seeking to rise and shine!
I've been fortunate to take this peaceful walk around the only city to live; Manhattan. I met John Jr. at the premier of Alessandro Ford's first movie. Legends have sweet tastes.
If you're not running, be mindful of those who are and walk in the right direction. Otherwise enjoy all 1.5 miles of the loop - perfect on a summer evening.
After months of detours around the reservoir the work appears to be complete!
Run and walk clockwise.
Beyond-words beautiful. Please walk or run counterclockwise as is requested so everyone can enjoy their time.
Pristine views of downtown. Stop running counterclockwise please
Wonderful place to walk around or run if you are into that
Don't get in the way of runners.
Splendid view! Get a delish hot dog right by the lake and enjoy the moment. Guggenheim museum is just steps away on 5th ave.
Good atmosphere, a lot of green. Very pleasant place.
One of my favorite NYC spots to run!
1.58 miles per lap, 2 laps is roughly a 5k
There are no bikes or strollers on the Jackie O path. @nycparks please consider more signs and enforcement.
Can't bring your dog on the trail that overlooks the lake; a little lame bc park time is usually an experience shared with a canine friend, but you can still see the gorgeous city views on all trails.
Counterclockwise is the key word. Seriously! You have to respect the walking running directions. Walking clockwise pisses people off.
Iconic views of the city. If you're visiting please don't bring your bike/stroller/dog/tractor on the running path. Slow pokes(like me) keep to the right and let the runners pass.
You can bike, jog, walk, the park, theirs special pathways for bikers.
Go here and run
Serious runners stay on the road while the rest of us take the scenic route around the reservoir. Pretend you're in a Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks movie about life in New York. Oh that's just me?
Perfect sunset spot...
Great place to see the face off of the west and east side Apt's. They've lowered the fence from years pass, making the view more accessible. Look at the water and you will see turtles and birds
Go for a run around sunset and have your mind blown by the beautiful setting.
Watch what direction you walk or run in - there's a protocol!
There are turtles in the lake - for realz!
The best place to have a run session
A great change of pace from running the hills around the park.
A perfect place to sit back, relax and watch the strong-willed as they run
Love walking here. No bikes, strollers, or dogs allowed. Love it!
Gr8 environment for a nice jog! Soft surface to run on!
So much around and in central park. This one's a no-brainer
You have to see the sunset in here, it's beautiful! Although it's a little windy especially at the east side
Really is a beautiful view especially at dusk - makes for a fun run!!
One of my favorite places in the city to run! There are few better places in the city when the weather is nice.
This loop turned me into a runner. One of the best parts of the park. You will forget you're in a hustling city.
Lovely view; funny how you see the skyscrapers of the dynamic city rise behind the peace and quiet of the water and the park around it.
Take in tranquil waters at the Reservoir.
Best place for an energizing evening jog.
Originally built in 1860 as a temporary water supply for NYC and named after the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1994. This also offers a breathtaking view of Midtown Manhattan skyline.
There's no better time to walk around this reservoir than when the sun is setting. Absolutely stunning! And different every night!
It's very possible that a vast underwater city decays beneath the reservoir's waters. It's also very possible that this is not true.
Good place to dump a body.
