Best food I had in New Orleans. Place is crowded so be prepared to wait 45-60 minutes to get a table. A must visit!

The cheesecake starter was amazing! Not a dessert. The spinach salad with sesame dressing & fried oyster garnish is such a simple but delicious complimentary dish. Great service.

We've always loved this place, but either the regular chef was on vacation tonight or we ordered the wrong thing. All I can say is avoid the (inedible) paneed rabbit, the venison and the gumbo.

It's a cool place, interesting decor (sp?) and nice atmosphere. Food was a bit salty on all three of our dishes. However, not the worst. You'll have to wait most likely. Overall, B.

Most of the menu is straight-up Creole, among the best in town. You will likely have to wait for a seat, but the Maple Leaf Bar is half a block away, so it’s no big deal. [Eater 38 Member]
