Wonderful outdoor venue to listen to a concert. That said you won’t see too much from the lawn seats.

Check out the concerts or movies in the park over the summer!! They usually start at 6 or 6:30 and last until 8ish. Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine and enjoy!

If you're in the lawn, sit as close as you can. In the back, you can't hear the music over people clinking their glasses and getting publicly drunk.

There are plenty of FREE concerts put on by the City of Chicago during the summer time. Grab a blanket and make a picnic out of it! Yes open alcohol is allowed in Millenium park!

There was live music... and you could hear it many blocks away!!! Love the open-air style amphitheatre and grassy area for extra seating!

Fantastic for dates! It seems like there’s a different festival every week and it’s close to the beautiful Maggie Daley park. Highly recommend.

The view from the choral balcony (inside looking out) is quite extraordinary, especially when you've been on the outside looking at the stage.

Get a picnic blanket and sit out under the sky for a concert. Nice setup buried in millennium park just east of the water walls.

The classical summer concerts are always packed but the jazz concerts every Thursday in July and August are just as good with much smaller crowds.

During this summer I was fortunate to watch an orchestra play Mozart. Amazing! Totally recommend it.

Bring a bottle of your own wine and cups. They allow you to byob, even saw people bring pizza and snacks.

The trellis supports the sound system, which spans the 4,000 fixed seats and the Great Lawn, which accommodates an additional 7,000 people.
