Factory tour worth taking -- once.
The original eight flavors of jelly belly beans introduced in 1976 were very cherry, root beer, cream soda, tangerine, green apple, lemon, licorice and grape. It takes 7-21 days to produce each one.

After the tour,check out the case sale near the restaurant before buying @ the gift shop. They also have overstock 50% off. Get bags of belly flops - $9 sweet deal! Foods not great - jellybean pizza!

Reserve spots in the factory tour ahead of time. They're small (up to 6 people) tours of the inside of the factory. You can easily get 4 times the free samples you'd get in the other tours.
Tour is nice. Be prepared for lots of young children and strollers.
They provide free tours at their factory! Plus, they give you free sample size jelly beans at the end of the tour.
Be prepared to stand and wait in a very very long line packed with young children! Its the only way to get in the tour

Wonderful place! Go during the week when workers are working, and also purchase the flops.
Note worthy is that the belly flop sale location also sells items that were tried but sometimes not successful (in the US), so you can score some quite tasty uncommon candy from them!
Come before 10am to avoid the crowds.

It's a Monday at 2pm and the crowd is crazy! Over an hour approx wait time to take a tour :(

The tour is guided and about 45 mins long. Lines can be long, but it moves quickly!
Get cheap fun. Free tour and lots of candy.
No production on weekends, if you wanna see the actions, go on weekdays! :)
Tours can be a long wait, especially during heavy traffic times (spring break, summer, etc.). Get there early.
Arrive at 4:15 and ask to squeeze into the last tour. No standing in line!

Remembered visiting this place decades ago. Amazing that they kept on going and going, and the many flavors they keep introducing over time is unbelievable. A must visit for international visitors.
