Visit us in the heart of the East Village for handcrafted beer on draught with local & organic food.
Jimmy's tends to get some beer that is not widely available elsewhere. Super cozy, friendly staff. Good for a low key evening.
Nice hidden spot
This place is amazing. Great cider and beers! The lechon is fantastic!
Great beer selection. Always a number of things I've never tried before.
Awesome basement bar & restaurant. True hidden gem
Incredible selection of craft beers. Awesome munchies. Great staff and owner. Will be back. And soon!
So many cider options, low key, great food
One of the best beer spots in the city. Jimmy is often around and always excited to chat about beer.
Great spot for sitting down to drink with your friends. Beer sausages was our favorite snack.
Beerz... check it out.
Close to mcsorelys, amex / cash only, if you like brick and beer it's great
Very cool bar with a ton of different craft beers.
Great selection of beers and ciders. Below street level = intimate and fun atmosphere
Zack is the best bartender ever.
Good beer and cider selection, as well as food. Low key, good place to hang out.
Jimmy’s No. 43 not only spares its guests of whatever perils lie above with its below ground refuge, but its agreeably priced appetizing menu and selection of beers and wine is sure to expend.
Pulled Pork Sandwich
Awesome hidden beer bar in East Village!
A little rustic, but if you are into beer, this is a great place.
They really seem to go out of their way in getting unique beers on tap. Had the Evil Twin Hipster Ale. And thumbs up to it.
Great selection of crafts and Belgians. Usually pretty relaxed in here but gets packed for the Home Brew Jamboree. Worth fighting the crowds though. It's a great time.
A decent beer bar with some good selections on tap. Can't compete numbers wise with ginger man and that group, but good ambience. If the kitchen is closed, grab some pommes frites and bring them in.
Nice selection of cold craft beers
Tons of beer on tap and even more available. Very chill. Go with a friend.
Had the most bizarre experience. We went in to try a few brews and there was no one manning the bar. In another room were people sitting in a circle singing. We never did get any beer :(
Village Voice is proud to welcome Jimmy's No.43 to the 2014 Choice Eats food fest! http://bit.ly/1cRzdNV. Try the spiced candy walnuts with a dark beer!
A craft beer lover's paradise! Give it a trust rating on Wyngspan: http://bit.ly/1mRHXY6
If you're from Westchester, you gotta rep and order a Peekskill.
Underground craft beer hideaway. Great vibes.
Great way to get acquainted with some NY beer.
Grab a craft beer at the front, say hello to Jimmy, then head to the back (a.k.a. the Laura von Holt Champagne Lounge) for parties & performances. We love the bi-monthly Hearth Gods series.
Best Duvel on tap I've ever tasted
This place is a craft beer-lover's paradise, with an impressive selection of both bottled and draft beers.
Crazy beer selection, a real East Village spot
Try the pretzel -
Decent craft beer list. Music was a weird mix and service was a bit curt. Cramped space too. Not bad if in the neighborhood, but nothing to go out of your way for.
For a great "speakeasy" atmosphere come here, your beer will behold and your food will be adequate
Great selection and Jimmy's the man. Cash only.
