Best BBQ ribs I had in my live. Go for pork ribs and fries, I did not like mac-and-cheese and coleslaw that much. Definitely go to this restaurant if you LOVE BBQ.

Ribs were overcooked. Pastrami was too dry. Beer was excellent. Home made beef jerky too

If Kansas City-style burnt ends, ghost pepper hot sauce and gooey, crumbly, eat-it-with-a-spoon cornbread sound good to you, get yourself to John Brown ASAP. Read more
  • What's Good Here
Choose the corn bread for the side. Moist and not dry like others and has the right bit of sweetness and amount of corn.
  • Steph S.
Delicious, first come first serve seating.

Idk what's good here I'm a recovering vegetarian so meat is not my favorite but the coleslaw was bad & the baked beans were not good either according to my boyfriend.

Be prepared to wait during peak times, but the food is excellent! The brisket, pastrami and burnt ends top my list but you really can't go wrong. Try the cornbread too! Nice beer selection in the back

Recommend splitting platters for your group - get the burnt ends, rib tips, pulled pork but skip the pastrami and brisket. Sides are solid too (I enjoy the vinegar based slaw). Great bar in the back!

The burnt ends is the BBQ you want at this LIC spot. Pair it with mac and cheese, corn bread, and some beers in their graffiti-lined backyard seating area.
