    The price of the cendol here is RM4. While most people can pay that, it is not cheap considering that the Restoran Peranakan not far away (on Heeren Street) charges RM2.50 for a bowl of cendol.

    Apparently the gula melaka here is not pure because it is thicker than usual as pure gula melaka is not that thick. They probably put something in it to make it thicker. Not that it is a problem.
