Jo's is my fav coffee cafe in Austin. The original Jo's on Congress is great for a short break and pastry. The location on 2nd street is a proper sit down lunch and breakfast. Great prices=super staff Read more

order one "ready to go" breakfast taco, and a second breakfast taco custom "made to order" from the kitchen. they'll deliver the second one nice and warm to your table as you're finishing the first.

Perfect for a leisurely day on south congress. The ice teas are strong and you get 2-3 free refills. A lot of seating options and tons to watch for...especially those birds!

better than average espresso and coffee, big rec (much better than S*s). love the atmosphere at both locations, each different. food has varied from average to quite good, would like more consistency

Good place to chill, get food and get some work done. Eggplant sandwich is delicious but super greasy. has pretty good coffee. Breakfast served until 10:30am. Free wifi (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

Fantastic booths for semi-private chatting over your meal. Pulled pork sandwich is delicious. Fantastic coffee - get your frequent buyer card stamped! Also validate city hall parking.

Get an iced turbo. You literally have to, I insist on it. If you can make it here early enough, they have some of the best breakfast tacos I've had but THEY WILL RUN OUT.

This is the only decent coffee I could find in Austin - A latte that tastes like real coffee! Service was slightly slow, but the quality def made up for it ;)

Austin friendly with excellent coffee. Can be a little tourist-laden at times but you can't beat their breakfasts

The staff needs an attitude adjustment. Flat out rude, dismissive and condescending behavior by the staff. My parents who came here a while ago were also disappointed by the staff's bad attitude.

If the burger of the day is bacon/blue cheese/caramelized onions, you definitely want to order it. Bring your lactose pills so you can have a turbo ;)

Jo's actually has a large food menu including simple sandwiches and breakfast tacos. Sometimes all you want is a tuna melt or a grilled cheese.

I usually go for the burger (which is excellent btw), but their BLT & broken yolk sandwich are solid choices too!

They know how to do caffeine. And the Palmers are perfect on a hot summer day in Austin -- skip the tacos.

Ask for 1/2 the ice in your iced turbo. They pit entirely too much ice in there normally!
