    They serve really fresh sushi. Imo, it's a very traditional sushi place, very simple and less fancy. It's good but I probably wouldn't go back again.

    incredibly overrated & overpriced. the sizes of the nigiri are way too big. we did the $185 omakase + 10 pc nigiri. the bluefin tartare is great. mushroom soup tastes like miso. $25 corking fee/bottle

    Don't bother coming unless you're willing and able to splurge on the chef's signature sashimi omakase ($80+). It is the best selection of fish I've ever had.

    Very fresh sushi! You know you are at a good place when the menu says the request of "special sauces" will not be honored! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance.. Katsu is an authentic sushi spot

    Katsu is easily the best and most authentic sushi place ever! All other sushi restaurants pale in comparison. Forget Americanized sushi. This is the real deal.

    The best Japanese Restaurant in Chicago. Located 10 minutes north of the city. They fly in fresh fish from the Tokyo market and the chef owner Katsu is always there. He actually butchers all the fish
