New York's Oldest and Best Delicatessen!
It's confusing/chaotic/intimidating, however staff was nice. Bring cash and don't lose your tix they give you when you enter.
Obviously the Reuben!
Love this place😊
Monster pastrami Sandwich in a caothic atmosphere. The place is so noisy that you will not even hear Sally groaning...
Annoying. Packed with tourists. Annoyingly long lines. For what? The pastrami sandwich & the pickles are ok, but you can get really good food in this hood without this hustle
Definitely my last meal would be a Reuben Sandwich with pastrami, side of fries and a cream soda. Katz's never fail, excellent attention from everybody around and a lot of seats. ARRIVE EARLY!
Best pastrami in the city!!
It's *SO EXPENSIVE*Go once, it's history. But make it yourself at home if you want a basic sandwich for $21.
Chocolate egg creams. Pastrami sandwiches. Mazto ball soup.
Pastrami on rye
Reuben, Pastrami with Corned Beed.
Corned beef/chopped liver. BOOM.
Pastrami on rye with mustard is my go to! It's to die for trust me!
Pastrami sandwich is superb
Waiting time 45min? At a Deli?? Sorry... NO WAY! 😩
Pastrami Reuben was on point. Totally old school place. Will be back the next time I am in NY.
Worth the wait, the corn beef and pastrami Reuben is to die for.
Pastrami is INSANE. Something everyone must try once in their life, even if only visiting NYC, and especially if living here.
A NY staple
It's as popular as it is for a reason. Get the pastrami
Reuben's pastrami is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
Franklin's Brisket in Austin, Texas is the only better beef I've had.
Don't lose your ticket!
I'm not big on delis but enjoyed the brisket. Apparently, their pastrami is something to write home about.
My favorite deli in New York hands down!
Chicken soup is really good.
A classic worth visiting and do not miss the pastrami sandwich (not the first one to recommend that I know).
Great experience and lovely (if rushed) staff, but the prices are a total rip off. Worth sitting down to avoid the scrum at the counter.
The best Pastrami sandwich in the world! Get a hot dog to eat while waiting on line for your sandwich!
The atmosphere, the food is off the charts. It's like going back in time.
No doubt the best sandwich shop in NYC maybe the world
Hard to choose. If you go choose the half and half that way you get both pastrami and corn beef.
In New York? Eat meat? Love pickles? You must go to this classic Jewish deli. Bring an appetite and cash (no cards). Have a Cel-Ray soda. Waddle out the door. Don't lose your ticket!
Loved the matzoh ball soup
Pastrami of course
Pastrami with rye sandwich
Try pastrami sandwich w/ mustard and pickles, on the side get the Matzo soup and Katz's ale
Perfection in the form of pastrami.
Pastrami on rye throw some Cole slaw on top with a cream soda on the side. Justin the matradee was awesome in getting us a table. It's people like him that give Katz a good name
Pastrami with Cole slaw and cream soda
Not as good as my childhood memories but if you want pastrami downtown . (and dont mind the price) Its still the place to go. And it still looks the same as 30 years ago.
Famous deli. Pastrami is a must
If its your first time, make sure you're sober. They have this whole orange ticket situation that is very hard to process after a night out.
