Rib eye was very tender and tasty. It was also generously served.
My favorite steakhouse in NYC. Expensive but it's ok for special occasions.I usually get the Filet mignon,it's amazing. They cook it perfectly so it's tender and juicy. The service here is excellent.
Whatever you do, order the mutton (okay, it's actually lamb) chops. Excellent!
Old school NY Steakhouse. Dark, wood interior, the usual sides, very good steaks. Great for business meetings.
Knowledgeable staff slinging epic whisky list. And then there's mutton. What's not to like?
Great Prime Rib! Tasty and tender. Vintage lights are creating an historic feel!
dry aged burger
Porterhouse para 2! Delicisi
gargantuan bone-in prime rib, and the sheer glory that is the Keens mutton chop (actually a saddle of lamb)
Great dry aged porterhouse!
Get the Mutton, Prime Rib, or Porterhouse with the wedge salad and creamed spinach. I recommend getting it all and sharing!
Food was good and moderately priced.
If you're a meat lover, this is deadset one of the best places you could even think of going!!! It's old-school chophouse at its best!
So heavy food
I was really looking forward to finally eating at Keens. Unfortunately, the first might just be my last time. The Porterhouse had a really funky smell (old wet towel). The sides were just decent.
Get the sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach as sides. Delicious.
Yummy Steak in NY Tell 'em John Yeressian said so!
Classic steakhouse steeped in history. Good for business lunches and romantic dinners. Look for the Lincoln memorabilia!
Very charming authentic American ambiance with unforgettable juicy steaks
If you go for the porterhouse (for 2) order it one grade less cooked than you would otherwise; the filet side will be a little rawer than that, but the much larger t-bone side will come out just right
AmaZing!!! It had that untouched decor with the smoking pipes lining the ceiling. The sides were amazing no matter the choice. Porterhouse for 2 was perfectly cooked. Service was great so was desert
Everthing here is top notch. Starting at the bar where they have a nice selection of bourbons. At the table you can't go wrong with any of the steaks. I recommend getting a mutton chop for the table.
Fantastic cocktails and better steak, make this a restaurant to add to your list. Top-end Steaks and amazing Lobster tail. The food was terrific and the staff was wonderful.
The ambience is nice with it's low celiings. Food is delicious, portions more than generous. Try the Mutton Chop, the Filet Mignon, the Creamed Spinach, Mashed potatoes and Creme Brûlée for dessert.
On par if not better than Peter Lugars as best steakhouse in NYC. Believe the hype: get the mutton chop and pair it with a glass of scotch or whiskey. Prompt service as well!
The burger (only available in the pub room on weekdays) is very juicy and flavorful. Pairs well with a side of the thick-cut smoked bacon.
Mutton Chop was massive and delish! Can't go wrong with the filet and the Yukon mashed were soooo good! Sit at the bar to eat if u like. Those guys rock!
Excelente Filet! Excelente ambiente! Excelente atendimento...
Absolutely brilliant, go for the bacon and porterhouse!
Se requiere reservación. Si no hay mesa pida el bar, es otro ambiente pero le dan de cenar. El sea bass con espinacas buenísimo. Los camarones salteados excelentes. La carne en general muy buena.
Even the Thick Bacon Appetizer is good enough for a whole meal.Worth the 1 hours wait.
Wonderful dinner! The aged prime porterhouse is fabulous.
Mutton chop at the bar (pub-sized). Ask for it rare. Best piece of meat in Manhattan.
Famous for their mutton chops
Mutton chop and prime rib are spectacular, and the ambience here is as an steakhouse should or must be
The best steak ever. Period.
Let's Eat up hopefully its a good steak
Have the blood and sand cocktail
Filet is awesome.
Nice steaks. You can find better in NYC.
The mutton chop is really legendary
Excellent wine list and the lamb chops!!
Prime rib cut ... To die for!!
Great grill burger on the bar!
Mutton chop! Pretty good and comes with mint jelly, sweet balance for lamb taste. Not the best sirloin though comparing Sparks!
Dinner for four? Get two orders of bacon, a porterhouse for two, mutton chop, burger with cheddar, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Scientific proportions made to make the entire table happy.
My favorite steak house in NYC
For a meal you won’t soon forget, chow down on a charred T-Bone Steak or a King Cut Prime Rib accompanied by a side of Sautéed Mushroom and Hand-Cut Fries
Pick a year and ask the bar tender who was president then.
