The Kings cut Prime rib is amazing but /huge/. The creme brûlée is the best that I've ever had.
The aged New York strip steak is excellent but don't forget to order some sea salt to finish it off on the plate..
Get the Mutton Chops if you love meat. You're welcome
This place is unbelievable. Porterhouse followed by a butterscotch sundae. Die happy.
Try the Porterhouse for two w/ your girlfriend
Mutton chop and martinis are insane but leave room for the best, he sundae!
Bacon appetizer was delicious. I'd say skip the mutton unless you really like mutton.
The mutton is very special
An excellent recommendation of anthony bourdain
Love the history. Loved the steak. Definitely try the mutton chop!
So good. Book a table in advance, then get the Porterhouse.
Bernaise sauce with filet m. Foodgasmic. Don't forget to throw in bacon.
Get the sirloin steak salad for lunch. Just the right size (medium rare if course), and wash it down with an Arnold Palmer
Delicious but the steaks are not meant for the faint of heart: order wisely or you'll be eating (yummy) steak for a while!
What's not to like about this jewel? Bartenders that are second to none, great food and the most interesting patrons. But the piece de resistance is the Hot Fudge Sundae. At a Steakhouse? YES!!
Get the steak.
Go for the mutton chop!! Better than any steak by far.
Eating a steak here, among the impeccable service and great classic cocktails, ensures you feel nothing less than, "I have arrived."
Wow. From the service to the food, everything was outstanding. I ordered the lobster but we also had the mutton chop which is a MUST! Key lime pie for dessert was unexpectedly good!
12oz Filet Mignon for $58... comes with nothing. Literally, a large plate with a dry sauce-less piece of meat. It went cold because I could finish. Meh.
Rib Eye Steak
Great Potherhouse for two!!
This place has an amazing mutton chop that distinguishes it from most classic steakhouses. The atmosphere can be hit or miss depending on which of the many rooms you're in. One of my faves.
Fantastic! One of the best steaks of my life. I had the New York Sirloin. perfection. The "12 ingredients chopped salad" is also memorable. Cant wait to come back.
Have yourself the perfect lunch. Glorious rare cheese burger and a solid glass of red. The quiet dark bar is a little piece of solitude amidst the humid, bustling streets of NYC.
Fantastic!! I love the prime ribs here!!
Best steak in New York City
I had a T-bone steak. It's big an it's good. It's an expensive restaurant and I had better meat, but the place alone is worth a visit.
Love the food, atmosphere, and service!
Filet mignon, dark chocolate mousse and coffee. All phenomenal. Period.
For a classic steakhouse, Keens is the best in Manhattan
Rib eye was very tender and tasty. It was also generously served.
My favorite steakhouse in NYC. Expensive but it's ok for special occasions.I usually get the Filet mignon,it's amazing. They cook it perfectly so it's tender and juicy. The service here is excellent.
Whatever you do, order the mutton (okay, it's actually lamb) chops. Excellent!
Old school NY Steakhouse. Dark, wood interior, the usual sides, very good steaks. Great for business meetings.
Knowledgeable staff slinging epic whisky list. And then there's mutton. What's not to like?
Great Prime Rib! Tasty and tender. Vintage lights are creating an historic feel!
dry aged burger
gargantuan bone-in prime rib, and the sheer glory that is the Keens mutton chop (actually a saddle of lamb)
Great dry aged porterhouse!
Get the Mutton, Prime Rib, or Porterhouse with the wedge salad and creamed spinach. I recommend getting it all and sharing!
Food was good and moderately priced.
If you're a meat lover, this is deadset one of the best places you could even think of going!!! It's old-school chophouse at its best!
So heavy food
I was really looking forward to finally eating at Keens. Unfortunately, the first might just be my last time. The Porterhouse had a really funky smell (old wet towel). The sides were just decent.
Get the sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach as sides. Delicious.
Yummy Steak in NY Tell 'em John Yeressian said so!
Classic steakhouse steeped in history. Good for business lunches and romantic dinners. Look for the Lincoln memorabilia!
Very charming authentic American ambiance with unforgettable juicy steaks
If you go for the porterhouse (for 2) order it one grade less cooked than you would otherwise; the filet side will be a little rawer than that, but the much larger t-bone side will come out just right
