ShivenJune 26, 2014Cafe noir just outside the departure gate offers the best option in hot fresh french and italian meals. Soup of the day is a must try. Fresh pasta , lasagna is awesome. Lil expensive tho.
One of the best airports of the country and has a massive lounge too but yet can't manage the rush and crowd, eat the South Indian food down surely!!

This airport is improving day by day . Now there are many check in counters for smooth flow of crowd. This is the best airport in India with respect to facilities.
Angel LisaJuly 23, 2017The best airport in the country in terms of everything. Great infrastructure, gud washrooms,superb cafes. Also it is a silent airport and no announcements since everything is self explanatory.
I would rate BLR airport better than DEL & BOM domestic terminals anytime. Can not compare the traffic though. It is clean and neat and yes lounges are better here than BOM & DEL. Keep up the goodwork

Remains the best domestic airport in the country. Do try "masala omelette" at Barista if you are travelling in the morning.They also opened a smoking zone recently.
very well developed .... huge parking ... but it costs ... far away from city but Volvo services are very good .... restaurant for food are good and well done up lounge and waiting area

Relax. The bus stand is right in front. Just walk till there and tell them where ever you want to go. They will tell you the right bus number.
If you're flying domestic, forget about making an alcohol purchase. Alcohol is only available at the international terminal. Best buy it from out and add to your check in luggage.
Use the free wifi to download taxi apps (Ola Cabs, Meru Taxi, Taxi For Sure - on iOS devices). Get fair prices. The "pick up now" feature on such apps allow you to pick a cab in less than 10 min.

The coffee at the Ely cafe bar is good. If you want beer and some great breakfast, head to the Time Out cafe. All food is expensive. Idly will cost you 100 bucks...WTF did you expect?

Getting WiFi access is a pain. 70-80% of the time, you've gotta personally follow up with the customer care to get the login ID & password.

Malgudi Tiffin Center has a counter for snacks and another for breakfast. - The airport now operates FlyBus, a regular, non-stop luxury bus service to Mysore. Passengers can book a seat in advance as well on all major travel portals (redbus.in etc).
If you are travelling with just a carry baggage, you can pick your tickets right outside the airport and can walk-in straight to security.
When the immigration line is long, and if you have an OCI card or PIO or you are physically challenged or have an infant, walk over to the extreme right for a special line for such cases.
Chai Point outside the arrivals gates serves excellent tea. Don't miss. Choose the half cup option.
Remember to carry your tct print-out. One of the few airports in India who dont (yet) recognize the airlines' SMS. How unCool!!
