31 major rides, including three wooden coasters, two steel coasters including Phantom’s Revenge and Skyrocket, water rides, spinning rides, hi-speed rides for thrill seekers, Kid-sized rides for tiny daredevils, and relaxing rides
Such a great theme park for young and the young at heart
It's not the biggest amusement park but it definitely aims to please. So many roller coasters! And don't leave without getting some Potato Patch fries!!
Coaster VIP pass is like half the price of a regular fun day ticket and totally worth it. Know that some coasters have a height requirement of 52", so beware when purchasing for kids.
I love that you can bring your own food inside to eat at your leisure. The entrance fee for one day is completely reasonable.
Always an awesome park. I've been going ever since I was little.
Great little park in Pittsburgh, PA. Very nice kiddie land for the little ones.
Enjoy an old-fashioned amusement park at Kennywood® in West Mifflin, Pa., to ride one of the highest rated roller coasters in the country, the Thunderbolt.
Enjoy an old-fashioned amusement park feel at Kennywood® in West Mifflin, Pa., where you can ride one of the highest rated roller coasters in the country, the Thunderbolt.
Get your tickets at giant eagle to save a few bucks
Ride all the rides! Eat Potato Patch Fries!
Eat at the potato patch
Jackrabbit. First roller coaster for Willem
Exterminator and French fries with gravy!
Great park. Easier to het on rides than Cedar Point. Need more adult rides with newer more exciting options. But great for the kiddos.
Scavenger hunt! See how many juggalos you can count by the end of your visit! And avoid Garfield's Nightmare... That thing is awful.
First time there - went on a Friday and was perfect! Longest wait was maybe 30 minutes. Will definitely be back next year!!
Showing up on days with bad weather usually means shorter waits, but the park may also close early.
Great rides and great fries at the potato patch great everything especially the thunderbolt fast line and fast ride
Great spending time with family and friends.
Old style amusement park where you can have picnics, enjoy rides, and have great entertainment.
Holiday lights was a nice little shindig. But if your child(ren) are under two years old and it is freezing like it was on 12/15/2013, please stay home or find a sitter. It was way too cold.
Three words: POTATO. PATCH. FRIES.
Great for all ages of family fun!
While you’re here, make sure to spend a day at Kennywood, Roller Coaster Park and home of “Phantoms Revenge,” just off Kennywood Blvd.
the skycoaster is definitely worth the extra $$$ !!! so amazing!
Go on a rainy day! No lines. :)
Sprint has LTE 4G here! Incredible
To those complaining about the park..why even come if your going to be a miserable sack of crap? Of course there are groups of annoying kids..you were one yourself, remember?
Have fun. Plain and simple!
Phantom's Revenge is definitely the star here. It's built into the natural geography, at one point following a cliff down through its own structure and below the level of the rest of the park.
Great park, you'll want to go back again and again.
Eat square ice cream :)
BEST PARK AROUND!
One great place to spend a day enjoying
Patio patch fries are the best with bacon and cheese
Old school mixed with a few new school rides. #Nostalgia
Kennywood is super cool! Try Phantom's revenge, Sky Rocket, eat at The potato patch, and take soft ice cream with jimmies.
During Phantom Fright Nights, Mortem Manor is definitely the best haunted house.
Dippin Dots and Potato Patch Fries AFTER you ride all the rides! :)
Ride the Black Widow! I was sad when the took the Pit Fall out but the Black Widow more than makes up for it.
Go to Giant Eagle and buy tickets there for a discounted price.
i want to see how fun this place is since they took out my favorite ride. rest in peace, pitt fall.
The Exterminator is the best ride here. But make sure you ride the Phantom's Revenge, the Thunderbolt, and the Racer!
More of a full day sort of activity, this is a really classic amusement park like a Coney Island or Old Cedar Point. Went here every summer.
Actually the check-in is spelled wrong. The entrance says Pittsburg's, to model after how the city used to spell its name... hittin ya with some knowledge!
Ride Phantoms revenge then get potato patch fries with gravy and garlic salt!
For an old amusement park, this is certainly one of my favorites! Such fun!
