The best range of craft beers in Sydney
battered prawns well-executed and not drenched in oil. seafood vol-a-vents had nice sauce and packed with seafood. pork belly a good sized portion. prices slightly on high side but it's king st wharf
Great beer but like many have said, the service is very slow and the food is quite overpriced. Go to other restaurants at either Cockle Bay or over the water at Harbourside for a better experience.
The wood duck pale ale is the best, nitrogen infused beer. Awesome!!!! Would make a special trip from Brisbane just for it!!
Great beers on tap but rude bar staff. Felt like they were not being paid to do their job. Wouldn't recommend place to friends coz of terrible service.
Wagu burger is very good and at $13 for a lunch special you can't go wrong. Lots of pool tables and screens.
Worst service ever!!! Our waitress was rude, she refused to serve us and when she finally did, she never told us that the kitchen was closed!!! Never again.
The Wooduck is sensational . It is without doubt, the best beer ever brewed!
Service was horrible, a meal didn't come out and little retribution was made... Doesn't make sense to pay so much for ordinary food and ordinary service.
This had better food when it was under the James Squire name. The Fish N Chips were disappointing - go to Bungalow 8 where it's much better
Great place to get ya drink on.. Pity you have to pay extra to make the staff smile!
The wood duck is tops. If that runs out the fish river gold is pretty good
$15 for good steak and chips and half a pint of craft beer, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Almost feels like ripping them off!
chef's salad is quite filling for those of you who likes to go easy on the bulge...
Laugh until you can't breathe - for some reason this always seems to happen at James Squire. Must be the only reason you'd pay $25 for bangers and mash
Pretty big and relaxed place - good for large groups. Pretty good beers.
Good for... well, nothing really. Processed food. Flat beer. Poor late night service. Bad experience.
dog-friendly place, but pooch must (reasonably) be at the outside high tables. and well-behaved (obviously)
One of the few places I've found in the city that serves Kronenbourg Blanc
Lamb skewers are the best. But as pointed out, not the cheapest place.
Sundown is the best lager ever. Great spot for an afternoon beer. Eat elsewhere though.
James Squire beers are fantastic but worried they appear to be switching to Blue Tongue :(
If you take a photo with Brian and check in on Facebook it extends your happy hour
I couldn't bring myself to not pay for the meal since I had such a bad experience. I wish I had just walked out now.
Great food and great service! Fish n chips is a must!
Amazing place. Ratio Price/location/quality is very reasonable.
