The remodel is stunning but they didn't fix one of the fundamental problems with all stations- there is no way you're going to hear the overhead announcements. Don't rely on them.
Freely admit: this is NOT as glorious as Grand Central. For being about 100 years younger than that AND in The Wild West... not bad at all!
The updated station is gorgeous!
Nice place to escape the elements. Beautifully remodeled station that houses Sound Transit. Maintained public restrooms.
Beautiful, recently completed renovation is best experienced going upstairs to balcony.
The station underwent a renovation and look up to see what a drop ceiling obscured.
Even though there is no food or beverage outlets, once they get the remodeling done, this will be a beautiful train station and I am sure will have food and beverage outlets.
Take the Sounder to Tacoma.
Have you ride pick you up in front of tiki bobs to avoid the traffic cluster out front of the station!
Don't show up early -- there is nothing to do here, and no one cares if you are early.
The evening Cascades is not scenic...
Upgrade to business class for just a few dollars more. Food discount, reserved seat and bigger seats make for an easier ride.

Watch out, the stairs smell like poo-gas.
Pay the extra $20 for business tickets. You don't have worry about long or any lines!!!
This is separate from king street amtrak station. No access to amtrak from here.
