    Even though there is no food or beverage outlets, once they get the remodeling done, this will be a beautiful train station and I am sure will have food and beverage outlets.

    The remodel is stunning but they didn't fix one of the fundamental problems with all stations- there is no way you're going to hear the overhead announcements. Don't rely on them.

    Don't forget to tap your ORCA Card. If you have an ORCA card, it’s your ticket for riding Sounder – but you must tap it when you get on and off the train. Every ORCA card must be tapped every time,

    Hot tip for morning travelers: bring Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee packets with you in case the bistro car coffee machine is out of service; you can always ask for hot water to make coffee

    This is both the end of and the beginning of Amtrak's Coast Starlight. Make sure you arrive at least an hour before the train is scheduled to depart to get seat assignments and settled onboard xx

    A good option for sea-tacoma when the weather is good and traffic is bad. Check WSDOT website before deciding to bus or train during peak times.

    If you have a puget pass or the Orca equivalent, you can travel to and from Everett for free on the Amtrak train on weekdays.

    Start and End of the line for Amtrak's Coast Starlight train from/to Los Angeles and you can catch service to Chicago, Vancouver, BC and Portland

    On a Sounder train, table seats are the only ones with outlets. But get there early if you want one... they go fast!

    While no food is readily visible, if you cross 4th Avenue to your East and walk over one block there are several cafés.

    If you're headed south, but not farther than Eugene, OR, take the Cascades train. the Coast Starlight is almost invariably an hour or more late.

    Don't count on finding a coffee shop or convinience store here. Vending machines only during the renovation.

    If you're planning to go to Vancouver expect a lot if delays along the way. But otherwise a good trip.

    Tap your Orca card after exiting to get credit. If not, may be charged for all the way to Tacoma.
