It's a bar
Go for the soft-shell crab
Beer and fries
Fries and beer
Delicious baked eggs and kale
Ok food. Horrible service.
Bar by window is great!
Bijou is tasty
Downstairs bar DOES NOT EXIST anymore
Bad service. Food OK but nothing special.
I always love coming back here, feels very LA w/ the open layout, greenery, skylights & reclaimed wood detailing. Fantastic for brunch, drinks or dinner - take your time, it's a nice spot to hang in.
Make sure you get your stinger from Ariel!
The stinger is my favorite
The fluke is a fluke. Thick, ick. Fishy.
Lights dim at 8:07
Food is not much to get excited about but the cocktails are fantastic.
Share a bunch of small plates, all of them that we tried were great. Especially the mussels and kale salad.
They lost our reservation and then ran out of food. To make up for it the manager allowed the waiters to lose his gratuity in lieu of fixing the house's mistakes. Have some class Kingdwood.
Oh what a disappointment. Shame management couldn't address the lost reservation, half of dishes unavailable, wine running out and oh oops, extra dishes to bill instead of the huge discount!
Forgot to say that they forgot our reservation for 8 and squeezed us into a space for 5.
Food was decent for what it's worth, but running out of every main outside of the burger on a Saturday night was not. Not the first, but probably the last until the service improves.
Food is good...but not only was our reservation for 8 lost, they also only had two mains left and overcharged us. Sorry but this place USED to be good.
Basically food is good but they run out of everything so you have the option between burger or chicken nuggets. I guess it's worth 24$...
Australian my ass!!!! This place is more yankee than uncle sam.
The Raging Bitch is just that? I wouldn't order it
The worst service I have ever experienced in NYC. We waited approximately 2 hours for our food. Our drink orders were taken only twice within those 2 hours. Heard great things about this place too.
Attractive clientele... BAD Food. I will give them good drinks though.
Good small plates.
Flat iron steak tartar was awesome, as was the 5 spiced old fashioned.
Skip the burger/ fries at brunch. Not worth $19.
Get the Ruby Bronte burger. Best modern take on a burger I've ever had. Truffle mayo, sweet chili sauce, served on a ciabatta... That kinda deal. Super filling.
Ask the beautiful bar manager, Beate to make you a specialty cocktail. You pick your booze she'll create magic!
Mussels... Meh. Brick chicken and striped bass are the winning dishes. Those and the Mac and cheese of course...
The five spice old fashioned -- Elijah Craig 12 yr, Oolong spice syrup, plum bitters -- is delicious, and sweeter and milder than your everyday neighborhood old fashion.
Avoid the weak cocktails, but definitely get dessert
The bar makes you smell like pennies.
They have a great seasonal menu. I had the duck confit when they had it which was absolutely amazing. I also recommend the truffle mac & cheese. Would definitely come back to try their drinks
Best burger below 14th. Honestly.
Get the softshell crab if its available. Nicely done. Would have taken a phot but I ate it all.
The bartender is that dude from the LensCrafters bus commercial! Also, make sure you get the Avocado Toast...yum!
Lamb crumble? Barramundi? Yes please.
Home fries are spot-on perfect here.
Farro wheat salad is awesome!
Fried egg sandwich is really good.
Fried egg sandwich is unassuming, but delicious. Although, technically it
A great atmosphere with even better drinks (we recommend the Rose Royale), you'll instantly fall in love with this Australian restaurant in the heart of the West Village.
