Like everyone says, omakase is the way to go but order an extra side of toro sashimi. Incredibly fresh and well prepared here and at a better price point than other places offering toro.

Best sashimi in town. Also try the Chawan mushi - the ratatouille of Japanese food. Stunning in its simplicity. Crab with radish is also highly recommended.

$50 for the regular omakase, $68 for the "special" omakase. Can't beat that in terms of quality and value in SF.

A little view of a Tokyo sushi bar in San Francisco. Try the omakase which combines their great sushi with some warm plates as well.

Not cheap, but probably the best traditional sushi in SF. Super friendly Japanese proprietors. Go with the Omakase and order a glass of fantastic Esshu sake! You will have a great night out!
