Their kimchi was awesome, had 3 servings. It goes so well with other dishes. Had the Bulgogi Dub Bap, was a little peppery. Their soondoboo jjigae (spicy level 3) was a delight. Service is very slow.

I happen to think Korean food works well as post work out grub! Get a spinach salad, chicken Kalbi or bulgogi with the lettuce wrap. Delicious combo and you won't feel guilty afterwards!

    Joey Palma · January 11, 2013

Feast for two: tuna tataki, California maki, haemol pa jeon (seafood pancake), dweji kalbi (grilled pork), and haemul tang (spicy seafood stew). Oh, and Korean ice cream!

    Joy Anne Denoga · July 24, 2012

Kogi Bulgogi's prices aren't worth it (taste, service, portion sizes). Everything was just "ok"; just go to Kyochon if you want Korean food lol (or go across Eastwood to Seoul Barbecue).

Japchae was pretty good, very sweet. Ordered Bulgogi and Chicken Kalbi plus fried rice. Very good and filling. Great family place, but the service is rather slow.

    Kira · August 25, 2013

Its a Japanese restaurant trying to pass itself off as Korean. Sure there are some authentic Korean dishes but if you look at the menu, you would have thought you were in a Japanese resto.

I love the chicken kalbi (spicy) though it does not really make up for the really bad service. We were seating outside and could not get any waiter to pay attention

    Avery D · April 19, 2012

Worst korean food I have ever had. Everything was bland and absolutely flavorless. Those who said this place was passable for korean food were being kind.

Their ojingo gui nd kimchi fried rice is delicious!! The squid is very tender. Best nude kimbap ive tasted so far

Food is 'meh.' it's not horrible buy fairly non-descript. Kimchi was good. Japchae was passable but there are better alternatives.

For a Korean restaurant... This isn't one. Avoid at all costs. Bland, nondescript food that's a poor imitation of Korean food.

Salmon skin roll is great, and an order is good for 3 (or 2 heavy eaters).
