One of the best burgers I ate in NY. It's closed now so you have to go to the one in Brooklyn. Quality is the same.
Klassik halusky 👍
Great place. Small but you will get a great meal. Don't forget the halusky fries
deep fried flatbread burgers, try the beet sauce.
Slav, it's just amazing
Get the original, fried please.
One of the more unusual burgers I have ever had, but in no way is it just a gimmick. The fried bread keeps all the ingredients in and it is fantastic.
Best burger in east villagr
I have yet to taste burgers better than the ones at Korzo Haus: fried Hungarian burgers at its best. Still my favourite burger joint in NYC if not the world. Unfortunately it's cash only.
Undoubtedly the best burger in the entire world: just get the original medium rare
Quality burgers. Really, it's hard to find anything wrong with deep frying a patty in the bun. The house beer is delicious too.
Comfort food like goulash and fried burgers to go along with plenty of beer.
deep fried burger
The Burgers are awesome!!!
The burgers, it's obviously about the burgers, it's only about the burgers. The original or Otto, med rare and fried, with the sweet potato fries and house ale. Can't go wrong.
Hidden gem. The ketchup is made from beets. Beet-chup?
Great burger deep fried in its own bun.
JUST DO IT... Original Korzo Burger (bacon well done) + Halusky Fries + Organic Draft
Well worth the trip for one of the most distinctive burgers in town.
Get the Sweet Potato fries. Do it.
Awesome burger. The spaetzle is great. Don't be discouraged by the location.
Wow what a great little spot! Get the organic ale & dumplings to start. BUT, the original Korzo Burger with well done bacon, w/ both their ketchup and Hungarian hot sauce is to die for.
Obviously the burgers are the greatest in lower manhattan (fried!) but if you're in need of a spicy hearty winter treat their goulash isn't to be missed. Filling with the right burn and leftovers!!
Good low-key joint - very small. Get the Original burger: Meat itself is bland, but fresh. Condiments, fried bun, and sides are what make it so tasty. Aioli mayo is amazing - I don't even like mayo.
I already know this is a stupid thing to like when there's a fried burger on my plate, but I'll be goddamned if I didn't actually enjoy that slaw instead of tolerate it.
Perhaps the best burger I've had in my life. Pastry dough wraps an ideal ratio of beef, bacon, and cheese. Comes with mayo, pickled cabbage, apple slices. Beet and homemade ketchup on side. Perfect.
Ugh, I didn't notice the C rating, which was partially hidden by a decorative shutter door, until I left. Yuck. My Original burger was pretty bland. Service was friendly but slow...
Eat these burgers.
Try the "halusky" fries! Very good type of fries.
Bernard Pivo: nice beer pitcher
Try the original Korzo burger...fried bread filled with fresh ground beef patty, apple smoked bacon, allgauer emmentaller cheese, mustard, and dill pickle.
Korzo burger is the bomb.
The veggie burgers here are surprisingly satisfying and hearty. If you're not vegetarian, add bacon to it for some extra meatiness ;)
Try the Philly Cheesesteak
You haven't lived until you've housed a plate of halusky w/ bryndza-Slovak feta & a pint of Korzo organic ale.
The deep fried burger is not as scary in real life as it is on paper. The fryer is the right temperature so it's not a grease bomb. Basically a good burger wrapped in a savory donut.
Winner of Best Burger in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Deep-frying a burger? Yes, please.
Czechoslovakian immigrants opened Korzo Haus. #Immigrant-owned
Best hamburgers and best hostess. Make sure to get the halusky mac and cheese thingy!
Get the Slav with a side of spicy mayo and a fire island ipa and talk to steven.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better burger in Manhattan.
Order the original burger + fries and an organic beer, then sit at the bar and talk to the kitchen staff.
love the otto, all the burgers wrapped in hungarian fried bread (like a burger inside a donut, but not at all greasy). amazing staff. cash only.
Burgers are awesome! Potato salad is addictive!
Don't even bother looking... When ordering, just ask for whatever the cook wants to make..... Never done me wrong
