This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city. However, quality, service, and selection has gone VERY downhill over the past two years. I will never come here willingly again.

    Stephanie · July 11, 2014

Leave room for the unique gelato. It's almost better than their sushi.

Definitely go with the Omakase Chef's Dinner Special where you can experience a daily selection of Japanese specialties including some delicious sushi!

definitely get the smoked salmon or skuna bay!

    Le'Naiya Blackwell · January 23, 2014

Sushi is mediocre. Best thing I had was the coconut custard dessert with the green tea sauce.

    Lynn Pina · January 5, 2014

The spicy miso ramen with the soft boiled egg on top is a must. Perfect amount of spicy and the combo of the broth and meat is awesome.

    Lynn Pina · January 5, 2014

Half-priced rolls on Monday nights! Great skewers and fresh, tasty sashimi. The honey fried banana and black sesame ice cream make a great dessert.

It’s a fun place to kick it with a few pals, a large order of beer/sake, and lots of different small plates–that’s izakaya! (Definitely try the seasonal specials.) Read more

Don't sit underneath the speakers or you will never hear what people at the table are saying. It's "cool factor" over having an enjoyable meal & time!

    Jason Herman · May 4, 2013
  • Jason H.

This place is so obnoxious and pretentious! They keep the music so loud and obnoxious with a DJ to make it seem hip and over the top. Don't waste your time here!

    Jason Herman · May 4, 2013
  • Christine O.

We had three sushi rolls.... all.not very good. I've had better. Don't come here for sushi. On the other hand... amazing salmon and steak is pretty good!

Skip mini donburi and Fatty toro. Duck fat pork ribs only ok. Eggplant was good but would not order again. Sashimi trio, pork belly, and honey banana are must orders.

If you know in advance your going there make a reservation otherwise you may end up at the grill bar which isn't terrible cuz you do get to watch your food be made

    Manothong T. · August 13, 2012
  • Kat L.

Oysters aren't worth it. Neither are the green beans unless you feel like eating veggies. Cold ramen is ok. The fresh sushi and sashimi is always safe. Great calamari, chicken sausage, ok hand roll.

We ordered the DELISH nigiri sashimi & pork belly, as well as a few rolls. Could've passed on the rolls, but the service was QUICK!

    Alexis Nascimento · April 24, 2012

Sitting at the bar is better than sitting at the table. It's fun to watch the cooks do their thing.

    Jason Rosenberg · April 16, 2012
  • Madison L.

way understaffed when I was there.

    Madison Levin-Epstein · April 2, 2012

Miso fish overrated and pricey. Skip Brussels sprouts and yakisoba. Get beef tataki and eel sashimi.
