    we went there in winters, there are two queues, one for cash and the other one for credit cards. Credit card one moves quickly, don't bother with the cash one. There is wifi, whole visit is 4 hrs...

    Tickets can be bought on the same day if you get there just before 8. The 2nd queue for ticket machines is much faster (only credit cards). Also there's coffee and snacks machines next to the toilets.

    if you want a good and freedom tour with out a guide. buy a book about alhambra in the shop is a great way ,the info is very good and also a very good souvenir ^^d

    Buy online tickets instead of going on tour guides. It will be cheaper and nicer. Besides from that, arabic architecture is seen very clear through all buildings.

    Audio Guide, Buy online ahead, use bus C3 from the main square round about (small red bus, not regular metro) and bring lots of water/snacks/lunch :)

    Visiting here needs PRE-PLANNING! Unless you want to stand in a queue from 5 am till god knows when and might or might not get tickets!!

    A must see site in Spain. Beatiful old medieval arabic fortress, blended with splendid gardens and water streams. The peak of medieval architecture.

    If you didn't buy your tickets in advance, just come early in the morning (8 am sharp) at the entrance, and find the yellow machines behind the bookstore to buy tickets with a credit card.

    Make sure you arrive at least 30-45 mins earlier before you allocated time for the palace. Otherwise u will be rushing through to the check point for the Palace.

    Summer tickets for main palace are very hard to get ahead of time. Generalife gardens: poorly signposted and no information. Tip: before going, read up on it first

    You pay too much, the waiting lines are too long. I recommend to buy a ticket online and only visit the garden, the waiting lines at the palace are too long.

    Bring snacks, water, and good walking shoes, and plan to spend half your day here. They sell sandwiches but are expectedly overpriced.

    If you booked online, you must present the same credit card that you used for booking. Otherwise they will not let you have your tickets. That's the only way they use for authenticating clients... 😡

    take no. 30 bus from 'Catedral de Granada' to the Alhambra's main entrance, 1.2€ per person, aprox. 10 min
