La Alhambra es un Conjunto Monumental creado a lo largo de más de seiscientos años por culturas tan diversas como la musulmana, la renacentista o la romántica.
Fantastic place, wonderful site, interesting stories. All perfect, but the organization.
Amazing historical place
it's very close from Alhambra palace and the view
Incredible place that have beautiful gardens and palaces, it takes at least 4-5 hours to visit most of its parts
Bring snacks, water, and good walking shoes, and plan to spend half your day here. They sell sandwiches but are expectedly overpriced.
Paid 2€ parking only to be told I can't go in...
Impressed about the architecture and the nice gardens
They say no visit to Andalucia is complete without visiting the Alhambra. So if you wish to skip the long queue and tour the great palace and gardens, book your tickets online and in advance!
At the main ticket office no english speaking person. We bought tickets we were not able to use.
The place like a dream needs a lot of power to walk
Great historic site. Plan your visit ahaid; book tickets from internet and collect them beforehand in the city.
Summer tickets for main palace are very hard to get ahead of time. Generalife gardens: poorly signposted and no information. Tip: before going, read up on it first
Absolutely worth visiting... Book in advance... Don't forget
Don't miss the Alhambra and the views that you get offers. It is so big, so worth it. Go early, book tickets in advance avoid the waiting and save time.
Overrated, but it is a must-see palace
Definitely a must-see place before you die!
Make sure to get the tickets online before you go there!
Must visit if you're near Granada, but not so much if you're far away. The complex is great and offers great views over Granada and taste a bit of Moorish architecture
Incredible! Buying tickets without reservation was possible at 9:30 with just 3 minutes waiting time (June 2015)
Tickets can be bought on the same day if you get there just before 8. The 2nd queue for ticket machines is much faster (only credit cards). Also there's coffee and snacks machines next to the toilets.
Must do. Wear comfortable shoes, you'll do a lot of walking ;)
The history is so rich. I can't wait to go back one day.
A must see in Granada. Buy your tickets in advance, get there early or face very slow, long lines.
Visit with Granada Card, it's cheaper & U will skip the infinite long line at the entrance... ;)
Buy a ticket in advance or you'll be waiting in a long line. The 8:30am visit is least crowded.
we went there in winters, there are two queues, one for cash and the other one for credit cards. Credit card one moves quickly, don't bother with the cash one. There is wifi, whole visit is 4 hrs...
If you booked online, you must present the same credit card that you used for booking. Otherwise they will not let you have your tickets. That's the only way they use for authenticating clients... 😡
Beautiful historic site containing well-maintained gardens and palaces, offering breath-taking views of the surrounding area.
Skip the lines and pick up your tickets at machine inside Caixa bank near Plaza Nueva before you go.
Piece of art ..
Take your time to explore the Generalife Gardens, mayby more interesting then the Palace itself. Less crowded after 7pm.
General ticket costs 14€. For seniors (+65) and young EU citizens 9€. There is a few ticket combinations (only gardens and so on. Line is quit big (10-15 min), but u can collect tickets in internet...
Audio Guide, Buy online ahead, use bus C3 from the main square round about (small red bus, not regular metro) and bring lots of water/snacks/lunch :)
A must see site in Spain. Beatiful old medieval arabic fortress, blended with splendid gardens and water streams. The peak of medieval architecture.
This is the most beautiful place on earth. Go here before you die.
get your tickets via ticketmaster, avoid all lines. the entry hour is for the palace, you can come earlier to visit all sites. 15 euro general acces
Every part of the castle and the gardens is worth visiting but expect some waiting in line during busy moments.
An unforgettable journey back to the Muslim kingdom that made this palace its home for centuries. The love, wisdom and faith this place convey is second to none in Spain and in Europe.
Buy tickets way ahead, and wear comfortable shoes on the day. It's an amazing place.
If you don't have tickets for the full visits - which you have to book weeks in advance - the place can be disappointing . Packed with tourists
Photography tip: Be the last to exit Nasrid palace so you have unrestricted view on Generalife, gardens and walls
They don't speak english well 😕
You have to go to the ticketmaster machine behind the gift shop
take no. 30 bus from 'Catedral de Granada' to the Alhambra's main entrance, 1.2€ per person, aprox. 10 min
Make sure you arrive at least 30-45 mins earlier before you allocated time for the palace. Otherwise u will be rushing through to the check point for the Palace.
