People tend to check in during these times:
Not a good option for vegetarians, they will accommodate and make something, so kudos - but it doesn't really seem worth it. For wide ranging eaters the 3 courses for R150 does seem like good value!
Certainly the noisiest restaurant I've ever been to, it was like having lunch in the middle of a construction yard. The food was good, but I just didn't enjoy the experience at all.
All I can say - Baked Vanilla Cheesecake , not too sweet - perfect desert to a perfect meal. Prices are reasonable , food excellent.
.@dctours_za recommended @laboheme_cpt ..outstanding #service from #Mngr Maria/exquisite #BeefStroganoff/buzzing+trendy #location..but only 30mB "free #wifi"?! 😖 Otherwise, DEF @jamescapetown #fave!

La Boheme classic - Balsamic roasted fillet on mushroom risotto. Just great!
R120 for a three course menu, well worth it. Dishes on blackboard menu change often too.

Fabulous. Menschy hosts. Bustling but always accommodating. Outstanding quality of food, wine and service at reasonable prices.
I just discovered one of Cape Town's cullinary secrets. What a joy! Divine chicken liver parfait washed down with Lady Warwick's Cab. Cannot wait for the mains. Will report back.

One of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. R95 for two courses, R115 for three -- an absolute bargain given how delicious everything on the menu is.
