This isn't french toast. Sorry it sucks. Full of egg nothing else. :-(
Oats have too many oats and not enough fruit. Coffee tastes like Starbucks burnt ness.
Nothing like getting a bowl of coffee.
Great for breakfast pastries.
Bowls of coffee (literally). Crowded, dirty, subpar brunch
The place is wide and friendly. Good stuff to eat. Worth going there
Warm goat cheese salad: delicious, perfect combination of healthy, veggie and filling
Open and light. Nice for breakfast, though not my lunch style.
Their specials can be inventive and delicious, but for me, ti's all about the Tuna Melt.
Nice chai latte. I like that there is a choice between sweet and spicy. Nom.
The best latte, great bakery and beautiful place! Only one thing is terrible - working hours, just till 7pm
Espressos & pastries. But you may want to consider downloading and using their App. Otherwise you may be waiting in line for a bit...
A bit over priced for the amount of food you get. Service is also mixed.
Ham and potato tart
Get your chai sweet AND spicy. Arguably the best chai in the vicinity. Also, there's wifi but it's pretty slow - don't count on it for important stuff.
Orange juice and kvinoa salad with extra goat cheese :)
Starbucks has ruined La Boulange. Shame on them!
The Healthful Organic Oats are fantastic and perfect on a chilly day, although sitting in the rotunda on a sunny day will also have you sweating in no time!
Try any croissants!!! My fave is hazelnut one
Love hot chocolate but can't do dairy? Warm up with the almond milk hot chocolate—deeelish!
Wi-fi is slow as shit. Not a good place to get work done!
Loved the authentic "Caffè macchiato"
Great cauliflower tart, mediocre minestrone
Super slow service. Waited literally 15 minutes for 5 people ahead of me to get through the line. Doesn't work as a get-food-before-catching-Caltrain place
Capuccino takes a little too long to get ready
Happy hour daily from 3PM to close. Specialty sliders, house wines, and beer. Sit outside and enjoy the afternoon!
Get the Spicy Chia
Live music on Fridays, 5 to 7 pm.
The best coffee in the University Avenue strip.
The hummus open sandwich is super !
This place is tasty. Try the Portobello mushroom burger. Get quinoa salad & potatoes. Note: I haven't asked b/c I want to remain ignorant but I'm sure the potatoes aren't vegan. They're delish.
Holy Grail drink: sweet dirty soy chai. I would cross oceans for one of those!
The coffee was quite good. I was also surprised to see a variety of spreads/jams for patrons who got food items and enjoy such spreads/jams. The staff was helpful. It was my first time :-) AAA+
Most sandwiches are pre-made so special requests (e.g. no bacon on chicken sandwich) are out.
I love how the sun rays go through the trees and leave a relaxing shadow on the tables...
Good food beautiful patio, but service is slipping. Good luck getting a table cleared much less wiped down.
Caramel macaron is my fave
Best latte in palo alto
Chocolate ganache tart. Do it.
The almond croissant is a must try. Plus, probably the best cappuccino in the area.
I love the free pastry samples :D
Nutella at the side bar
Has AT&T wifi
They now have free WiFi! Hooray!
sitting can be tricky, but enjoy the view of pedestrian passerbys in the glass rotunda
This really feels like a European cafe. The goat cheese and pear tart is just lovely as is the egg, cheese, and smoked salmon sandwich. And don't forget to get some spicy mustard for dipping.
They now have free ATT Starbucks WiFi!
The mini sandwiches are so good! And their bread is all from Bay Bread!!
