This little Mexican restaurant may appear too slick to be good, but it is. You’ve never seen an all-female line rock the kitchen the way they do. -Maria Hines, Top Chef
Close your eyes and blindly choose something to eat. And a margarita.
Best Mexican food I've ever had. Ever. Seriously. Ever.
Best Mexican restaurant in Seattle. Next time you're there try the Chile Relleno, authentic home-style mexican food.
Best Mexican food in Seattle - hands down.
Everything on the menu is good. You aren't allowed to disagree. Its science.
Mole, Mole and Mole.....
DO: Visit the salsa bar.
Voted Best Posole in Best of Seattle 2010! Posole, a highly traditional Mexican soup is one of the greatest gifts of the Latino canon. A hearty mix of pork and hominy in a rich broth. So incredible!
This place has the best mexican food around
Tamales de mole Negro is ridiculous
get there before they open (6pm on Sat.) and stand in line to get a table right away
Of course the food is amazing, salsa bar is great and the margaritas are lethal. But little known is how damn good the Lemonade is too!
The Entomatadas, Halibut Tacos, and El Pastor are fantastic.
Holy Mole! Do yourself right and get antything with mole sauce.
Mole baby...enough said!
Pork tamale, just do it.
No matter how few days I'm home, I make plans to eat here. Best Mexican in the PNW. The Mole will have you licking the plate. Halibut tacos are a must-have as well.
You can't go wrong here. Love their pozole, mole and guac. Yay.
Super good margaritas and a great place to stop for tequila shots
DO NOT order the chile relleno. Worst I've ever had!
Best Black Mole eva, and I'm from AZ I know mole! Try every single one of the salas with the piping hot chips!
Ask for the roasted grasshoppers!
Best mexican food in Seattle. My advice - sit at Damon's bar, drink his amazing margaritas and get the Halibut tacos!!
Get the pozole. Best soup in town.
Everything is good! Best Mexican food EVER!
Best Mexican restaurant in town. Always a queue.
House molè is insanely delicious! Get it with pork and tortillas on the side. You won't regret it.
The tamales mole was delicious as was the house margarita! We went at lunch and did not have to wait for a table
Amazing carne asada tacos,
El pastor tacos are more awesome than awesome.
Sit at the counter and watch the tortillas being made fresh to order.
Service was slow and condescending , order a lot of food or you will be hungry, chips will be charged by the basket, beware of the $6 charge, they are not bottomless. Overrated to say the least.
It's referred to as simply La Carta by a lot of folks, because, well who wants to tackle that last word? It's pronounced as in, "Let's take a leisurely down Ballard Avenue for some tasty Mexican food!"
Try the Chicken Mole - Surprisingly delicious! (via @Foodspotting)
Best guacamole I've ever had.
three best dishes: pork mole, entomatadas w/ green sauce, and halibut tacos. order a side of guacamole. drink horchata (when they have it).

Everything is amazing. Try the pozole or anything with the molè, they're all amazing!!!
Hear ye, hear ye. It's official: finally, good Mexican food has made it to Seattle. Better yet, it may be the best Mexican I've ever had anywhere. The lamb is melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
Pretty good Mexican food. Tad bit noisy inside.
"45-minute" wait on a Saturday night was actually 20 minutes. Don't stray far!
