After La Colombe, best iced coffee in Philly. Honestly. He puts a shot of espresso in it just like La Colombe. Solid coffee in general. Only bad thing is the funky, sometimes, unreliable hours.
Cozy, nice space, the owner will make friends with you! He's funny and very friendly and will remember you <3
Best cappuccino in the area and the owner is great! Makes me laugh every time I come in, no matter how gross it is outside. Love that they have LevelUp too!! Favorite place in the neighborhood
He tries to overcharge you if you're a dude, feel free to call him on it. Or just get a coffee elsewhere that actually tastes good.
Better than Starbucks
Ignoring the 'tude and general grime/mess, decent pastries but consistently amazed how awful the coffee is. Whether burnt, stale, gritty, whatever... Head to Elixr off Walnut b/w 15 & 16th instead.
The owner has the best sense of humor, and they serve La Colombe coffee (amazing). My neighborhood spot--definitely stop by and stay a while.
I have never had a bad experience here. And as for the no dogs thing, just because someone has a dog doesn't mean that everyone wants to eat around a dog. Friendly staff.
This is the best coffee place in Philadelphia. Come and read a book!
Best cafe, best owner ever.
My favorite neighborhood coffee shop.
Lemonade is good. Service is terrible and rude. AND, no dogs. What small, private coffee shop in the city doesn't allow dogs? I won't be back here!
Cute, quirky neighborhood place. Good coffee (la colombe). Don't take owner Said too seriously----he's a jokester!
NASTY! Used to go everyday when they first opened until 1 day I was short a dime and he made me go to the ATM across the street, pay a 2$ fee to give him his dime.
Don't worry if you feel like he doesn't like you. It is just his way. We call him captain gigles fo good reason.
Awesome coffee even better iced coffee.
