How much water should you drink? Take your weight, divide it by 2. Example: 140 pounds should drink at least 70 oz of water. Drink water, don't pass out.
Towel stolen from lockerroom. Gym refuses to install free camera from Roseville PD even after 150+ police calls occur in one year. Gym staff also let customers park on the sidewalk. Don't go here.
Come for the weight-tossing basketball court brawls. Stay for the car fires in the parking lot. If you're lucky, you might get your shoes stolen out of your locker.
It's a filthy mess on weekends.
Land of the hockey bag smelling locker rooms and home of the protein farts.
The sales reps will blatantly lie to you and customer service is pathetic. Apparently the customer is always WRONG. This location is pathetic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Protip: Don't join at this location. All LA clubs have relatively aggressive sales staff, but some here are just blatantly dishonest. It's also over-crowded.
Sales reps freaking suck
If you pick things up you get to put them down.
Good & bad. Bad: treadmills very old, hard on knees, all "machines" old. No air circulation upstairs, very limited TV opt. Good: free weights, bball, rcqtball courts, fitness and spin rooms, classes
Actually, I think it's spelled 'Huey'
Hit the pool on off hours.
Very spacious and not cluttered like new Brighton location. Looks swanky
Parking on the evening is impossible.
You NEED a towel for spin unless you don't plan on working.
Mary Tuesday 6:45 spin class is awesome and she kicks your butt.
SHADY UNJUST salespeople. Right as I gave salesman credit card he said "Oh and the last months of membership are also charged up front. That works out best for us." $100 > quoted price. What total BS!
Don't listen to Annie c. We're all here to better ourselves. Be nice to one another. You'll feel better.
Really old treadmills..yuck!!
Avoid laughing at the weight lifters screaming for show.
Don't leave your purse in your car.
1-3pm is the sweet spot!
If possible, don't go between 5 and 6 p.m. You'll spend more time waiting for machines and equipment than you'll spend actually working out.
Saturdays are no bueno. Basketball court is taken for a class, and it uses all the bosu balls.
Drink plenty of water during your workout!
All the men that work here are hot af....I'm single ;)
Open volleyball on Tues from 6p til whenever.
Don't tale the initial training session the force on you if you don't want to argue with the overly persistent trainers about how you don't want to pay $240 a month for training sessions!
If you're buying a PT package, make sure you sign up at another gym. This location doesn't do things according to Corporate policy!! St. Paul is much better for this!
If you have a big girl watch out for the black Chizler.
Among the LAFs in the twin cities, this is the oldest. They don't have the newer equipment like the other LAFs
This is the 5th gym I've belonged to over the years. Its the best value and has the best array of equipment I've had yet. Love it!
