This time is a good time to get your weekend workout in (7p-8p) as long as you are OK with taking your shower at home instead of at the gym.
It's a pretty decent club
be very careful with this place. They charge you even before due date, but when you want some info, explanation or any kind help, there is never anybody. Very bad place. I will not recommend
Early Bird gets the work out without a lot of people
This gym looks much better than my New York Sports Club gym. I always get a day pass when I come home.

My only beef with this place is the tile floors in the locker rooms. The other LAF's i visit (Warren, Sterling Hts.) are nice carpeting in the locker rooms. Feels much nicer.
Put the weights back where you found them when you are done with them! It is not cool to leave them for others to pick up after you!
Take Lisa cardio kickbox and body works plus abs... She's the best :)

Once LA Fitness bought out Bally I've noticed a lot of ghetto ass people at this gym. Stay clear of this place between 5-8!
Best time for workouts is before 8am and after 8pm. Pretty much no wait and it's empty.
Not a great gym. I only come here when I am hm from DC. Just saw a trainer wearing heals! Really.. Couldn't you put in tennis shoes like the rest of us. And you got the nerve to train some1!
You better park close to the door because you can get your car broken into. The crime is worse here than Southfield.
Do not leave valuables in your car. Common sense.

Cycle class is intense!
Go to the studio and watch these amazing dancers after 9pm. They usually come during the week.
If you want to be cool, wear a V-neck shirt that is one size too small (chest hair optional)
All ages all fitness levels here. Not a meat
Come after 7pm weekdays and avoid the madhouse.
Try to come any time other than a week day evening. Post 5PM there is a long weight for everything. Trying to lift free weights is a wash in the evening. Go early mornings instead.
Workout in the morning if you need to circuit train!
Stick to cycle classes for cardio workouts. I find the kickboxing classes boring.
Work It Out!
Wipe your machine off before you workout....people are gross and don't wipe them off after they workout!

I think it's actually pretty clean (spa is definitely cleanest one I've seen) super busy 530-730 though. It's even hard for trainers to find you machines

Southfield location has about 10% of the people this place does....r.o location is a zoo.
Never come here btwn 530-730pm. Its a mad house
