Good food, generous portions, affordable prices but poor service. Our waiter was slow and very unfriendly. Come here for the paella and sangria!

Good option close to the Rambla. Check out our post on our blog "enbcn":

The place is so good, I came back to Barcelona after 3 years and visited again. Try the squids in ink with polenta. Please do.

    Berk Mesekiran · September 7
  • Andrew D.

Please eat here instead of on La Rambla. Paella was great, and prices were very reasonable.

    Andrew Devlin · September 4

Come for lunch to avoid the queue, food serve literally fast ;)

NO!!! Cheapest quality of food. Tourist place. They offer tables in the cave. No go!! I get 1000 times better Paella in Cologne.

    Miaoo La · July 27
  • Wim M.

Good menu for under €20! Three courses including a drink, nice food but so crowded you cannot expect very fast or friendly service. Even had a waiting line outside!

    Wim Mathues · June 28

not sure what the rave is about. paella at best was mediocre and the service terrible. waitress could care less that she gave me a dirty plate.

  • SoJuno

Adequate menu for 17€, soup was tasty, salad descent, paella was overcooked and tasteless, desserts were delicious. I wouldn't come again though.

Really nice place! We order a fish paella and a sangria! It was all very good! The price is honest

Good restaurant: recommended the 20 euros menu that included: starter-Paella-Dessert (and bread/water/service).

Seafood paella and sangria are great. However, the service is a bit slow. The waiter was arrogant.

Good and plush food. Good seafood dishes and meat dishes as well.

    Dee L · November 15, 2014

Very good food and reasonable prices. Paella was really good! Fixed menu (menu del día) is 10€ (starter, main, dessert). On Thursdays most restaurants include paella at their fixed menu.

Good food with excelent price. Order the menu of the day, in catalan. The options in English are traps for tourists

    Thaís Cunha · October 10, 2014

Start with a goat cheese salad. For the main dish , Fish Paella and black rice are the best.

Paella is absolutelly awesome here! No wonder there are lines even outside the house ;)

    Mariya Kebalo · October 2, 2014

Great service, even when the place is fully booked. Spanish and Italian cousine are equally good. Several delicious vegetarian options are available. Well worth the money spent.

    Denis Bezkorovayny · September 28, 2014
  • Simon F.

We had to wait 25 minutes to get in, and really had expected a better experience. Cheap yes, but the paella was dry and rather tasteless. The staff seemed really uninterested, but did their job.

    Simon Fransson · September 25, 2014

Looking expensive but average priced, very delicious food. Starters with ravioli and red pepper were delicious. Also good sangria. Planning to go there again tomorrow!

    Ahmet Yöntem · September 8, 2014

The paella was one of the best I've tried in Barcelona. The meat was falling off the bones and seafood was so fresh. Plus, it's cheap!

    Ji Ann Ng · September 3, 2014

Probably the place is not bad BUT we are in a hurry and waited to make an order for 20(!) minutes. So we had no time to taste paella(

    Alex · August 18, 2014

Great value, probably the best place you can go if you are an average tourist. The prices are great thanks to an agreement upon a catering school that provides the waiters. Food is very well prepared.

    Matteo Giuzzi · August 16, 2014

Wonderful place!! Crowded but serving is relatively quickly. Very tasty paella! There are inexpensive sets too.

The food is fairly good for a reasonable price, though I am far less impressed with the service. The staff radiates both incompetence and indifference in their profession.

Starters are good but their paella is the bomb!

Best paella in town probably. Specially because of the price, it's so on point! The staff is polite and it offers a great ambience.

The service is - like everywhere else in middle-class restaurants - a bit slow, but the food is quite good. I had the roast of lamb with rosemary potatoes - excellent.
